Q: I just sold NVDA for a tax loss but will be repurchasing it in 30 days. Would you buy a proxy for it or do you think things will remain unsettled for the next month? If you feel a proxy is prudent, what would your choice be?

Q: I would like to harvest a tax loss on Intel and am thinking of using Nvidia as a proxy while I wait for a possible repurchase of Intel. Wondering if you think Nvda is the best option proxy wise or would you recommend something else? Many thanks.

1. Are there others that you would consider selling ?

Q: Could I please have your views on the best mid to large cap buys out there tor a long term hold, with a focus on USA. What do you think has the most potential upside with the least downside? Though call I know. I was looking at Amazon, Shopify, lspd, upst, Etsy, salesforce and square as candidates. Thank you.

Q: Sadly, APPS is down 65% since I purchased it and now is a mere pittance of my TFSA (.65% of my entire portfolio). Should I hang on and hope for better things? Or sell and use the proceeds to top up an existing holding? If the latter, would you top up NVDA or APPL?

I am also down 25% on LIF, which I purchased primarily for its generous dividend. Can you please explain why the dividend fell so steeply last quarter? And looking into that crystal ball you keep on your desk, what would anticipate will happen to both the stock price and the dividend going forward? Thank you.

Q: Hi! After this quarter would you sell Unity for a tax loss? Two other growth stocks I own are Crowdstrike and Nvidia. Which stock would you buy with Unity proceeds? Crowdstrike or Nvidia?
My thinking is getting back in at Unity at a later time.

Atz beat earnings and things appear to be going strong on all fronts for the business…yet the stock tanks some more today. Is this one of those disconnects where an investor should be buying more shares ?
