Q: The portfolio analysis tool shows that I'm under weight in tech stocks. Could you please recommend one US and one Canadian tech stock that pays a yield of 3-4 % and is growing that dividend as well.

Q: I would like your opinion on these tech stocks for my tfsa. tech stocks were suggested by you in my last question - "For some growth, one could add tech names (US or Canadian), if applicable. We note that less than five years is still considered relatively short-term, so we would keep things on the lower risk profile in general."
if u could rank them, or suggest better ones to research that would be great.

- Texas Instruments Incorporated (TXN)
Q: Hi there,
I inherited all 5 of these positions in my US portfolio and looking to reduce to 3. i am leaning to NVDA, AVGO and QCOM but I know very little about MCHP. I am also concerned about letting go of TXN given their role in converting analog to digital signals. YOur thoughts. I am looking for a balance of growth and a stable dividend.
Cheers

Q: There was a recent report on Qualcomm issued by a short seller that has hammered the stock. Two questions:
Why is it not illegal to short a stock and then issue a damaging report like this?
You have previously recommended QCOM in this space. Is there anything in the short report to change your view?

Q: Good morning
Do you think the possible blacklisting of Huawei from many western countries is a significant event wrt the 5g rollout? If so, which non-China competitors do you think stand to benefit most.
Thanks
Peter

Q: Do you have any 5G technology companies worth looking into or is it too early to get involved in this area ?
Q: Hi Peter, considering a preference for dividend paying stock in tech sector - which would you recommend - QCOM, INTC OR TSM (or if any other your prefer). Already own apple, msft , csco and oracle. Thanks
Q: I am finally out of my loss on this position... Do you feel that QComm will go to 80 and onward .. ? I don’t know enough about the stock’s potential but the last few days have been very encouraging. After holding for years I don’t want to sell if the stock is on a new trajectory or has become a tech leader ... would you Buy Sell or Hold ? Thanks
Q: Hello. If you could choose either QCOM or MU, which stock would you pick for a few months of swing trading? Thanks.
Q: Could I please get 5iResearch’s thoughts on QCOM’s offer to shareholders to purchase their shares at a price ranging between $67.50 & $60. The downside of the offer is that the US government will treat the payment as a dividend payment, subject to a 30% withholding tax. To get the withholding tax back there will be forms to file with the US government once the sale is completed. Presently my shares are in a non-registered account, have a 4% gain & pay a 3.5% annual dividend. Would you recommend just selling the shares now on the open market or holding the shares for future growth. They account for 23% of my US info tech sector & 3% of my total US portfolio. Thanks … Cal
Q: I am holding 100 shares of Qcom and have been in the red for years... fortunately it pays a decent dividend... Do you feel that this stock will improve Following the upcoming Dutch Auction ? You have suggested this stock several times to your readers... You recommended holding out for a better price when there was an interested buyer...After several disappointments, do you feel the buyback is a good thing at this point ? ...or it just creating an event to raise its stock price ?
