They make up 50% of my portfolio. I have 12% in cash. Would you add or reduce any of these positions? Long investment horizon(17 years). I’m over weight consumer cyclicals and FS (3% BMO and 3% BNS). Light industrials @7%.

Could you please provide 8-10 companies, preferably in the US that are in the AI and machine learning category and that you think have great technology and a large potential market? Q: Hi, I'm a new member and have this basic question. Analyst recommendation in a company profile shows recommendations such as Buy, Hold and a number assigned to them. For example, AAPL has 16 for Strong Buy, 3 for Moderate Buy. Is the any FAQ section in the website which can educate me on how to interpret these numbers? What it means to be 16 for strong buy? Is 16 out of 100 or something else? Can I filter stocks which have strong buy recommendation above a certain number say 10 on your website?

Q: Do you have any thoughts on who Apple could approach to get their car manufactured?

Q: Has Apple said they are building a car or is this only a rumour. If true would Magna not be a better partner than Kia or others ?
If this was to be true any idea if this moves the stock price of each meaningfully ?
I hear of another rumour Apple may get into crypto, if this happens both crypto and Apple stock goes much higher. If Musk was able to move the needle this week, I am guessing Apple would move it much more, please comment ?

Q: I'm wondering if you have strong feelings about the prospects of any of these or similar mega cap tech stocks, in terms of their values against each other or others similar. I own most of these but on their own they are fairly small holdings. Could you please rank, and which would be worth trading up for the others? Also how many would you recommend holding?

Q: Should investors change their goalpost metrics of valuing companies when investing?
Nowadays many complain about seemingly high valuations of many companies.

In the past, companies with a high P/E ratio would raise alarms - now it seems it's de rigeur - Apple has a P/E ratio of 43 for example! Does this go hand-in-had with investors accepting very low interest rates?

At first I thought it crazy that a company like Apple would earn $1 for every $43 dollars of share price but then realaized the US 10yr treasury currently gives me $1.09 for every $100 of principal .

Should the yardstick of what constitutes fair value be changed in light of these lower interest rates?

I know there are many ways to value companies but what would you say would be a 'fair' P/E ratio nowadays? Benjamin Graham had a formula and I'd like to see your opinion.

Q: The market seems to be shifting to value stocks. I am overweight many tech stocks. Should I sell some of the tech stocks and buy value stocks?

Q: I have full positions on those above. I want to add one more tech company. I am trying to buy only one within the sector and at the same time diversify their business. Q: I own these stocks in my RRSP and would like to sell two,using the proceeds to buy them back in a US$ TFSA.Which two would you advise to make this switch? I could utilize DLR.U and DLR to do this and pay the required tax using cash in my C$ TFSA .Can this switch be done directly with the tax being paid separately?

The only tech name I own is MSFT, and I should have added to this sector long ago. Would you please do a comparison between apple and facebook including the following metrics: Expected growth,volatility,fundamentals including strength of the balance sheet, cash on hand.
