Q: I have heard we can expect to pay more to fill up at the pumps. Are you more bullish on oil or gasoline? If you are more bullish on gas oriented companies, what companies would you recommend?

Q: Of the listed which 2 would you think have the greatest growth potential for a TFSA account over the next 5 years ? Could you suggest list any two others which you might think have better potential irrespective of sector.
Thanks
Jeff

Q: Hi guys, thanks for the excellent service. Generally TFSA is the place for high growth but my highest growth has been in my RRSP. Is there any compelling reason I should sell anything in RRSP and rebuy in TFSA (e.g., NVDA)? I realize I will be taxed on RRSP withdrawals while TFSA withdrawals are tax-free - but - my RRSP has a lot more cash than my TFSA so there isn't room to move all my growthy stuff over. Because of the relative size of RRSP to TFSA, if I were to do equal weighting of all stocks, I'd only have 4 different stocks in my TFSA, which perhaps is fine? Are there any obvious adjustments that you would make to the following:

RRSP:
XQQ 13.68%
VXC 12.03%
NVDA 7.64%
AAPL 6.70%
JPM 4.73%
BNS 4.52%
GOOG 4.32%
ENB 4.13%
MSFT 3.98%
AMZN 3.86%
RTX 3.51%
COST 3.42%
PG 3.11%
DIS 2.82%
CASH 1.32%

TFSA:
GSY 5.28%
CRWD 3.31%
VEEV 2.50%
ROKU 2.44%
SHOP 2.26%
WELL 0.85%
XBC 1.08%

RESP:
LSPD 0.79%
BYD 0.76%

NON-REG:
SLF 0.51%
T 0.42%

thanks,

Q: Add to a sector and stock in the doghouse recently or pump it into one with some recent momentum. In my registered account, +5yr hold. I own both and just need to decide where to put some cash I have in the account and too samll of an amount to add a new name. I unfortunately added engh just before the tech selloff so am down almost 20%, ENB I added in the lows back in oct and has done really well with the sector rally and paying a silly yields as well. So add to ENB and hope the ride continues or top up ENGH a well run company in a beat up sector?

Q: Looking at adding to my TFSA portfolio (junior investor - not playing with a ton of cash). I’ve had my eye on WELL for a few months and I’m looking to get in because of your recommendations. What would you say is a good price to buy at?

Also, could you rank ENB, ARX.TO, and SU.TO? Looking at enbridge alternatives, but maybe ENB is the best best way to go?

Would you prefer SHOP or LSPD.TO?

Out of all the above companies (WELL, SHOP, SU, ARX, LSPD, ENB), what order would you buy in?

Comfortable with a bit of risk.

Thanks for all you do!

Q: I have just sold my Inter Pipeline stock which was about 2% of my portfolio. I am looking to re-deploy proceeds. Was considering investing in Pembina but am now wondering if Enbridge would be a better play but am unsure of where things stand with the Michigan pipeline. I would appreciate you thoughts on PPL vs ENB. I have a 10 year investment term.

Q: I would appreciate your thoughts on holdings in the portfolio. All have been winners - I am fairly prudent yet always looking for trends and will hold long term. I don't rely on dividends though they are preferable. Would you make changes for another holding(s)?

Petroleum: TOU, FRU, ENB
Finance: GWO, NVEI
Steel: STLC, LIF (Watching cyclical trends)
Auto: MG
Mining: CXB, KL, (TRQ - I expect an upturn in 2 quarters)
Software: CTS, LSPD, TOI
Healthcare: WELL

Thank you for your support.

Q: I have owned ENB for many years. Many positives about the company and I have enjoyed the dividend.

But with on going pipeline concerns and the fact that the stock has is still below where it was 5 years ago, I am going to move on.

With Energy looking like a solid place to be right now, I am looking for something with more upside torque - without of course taking on excessive risk.

I already own OIH, XLE, KMI, EPD, BEP, CVX, and in Canada: WCP, ARX, and PKI.
Recognizing that the final decision is mine, is there one or two other energy companies (on either side of the border) that you would suggest or would you see adding to one of the above or adding a new ETF?

Thanks for your help here.

Q: I hold both Interpipeline and Pembina. If the PPL takeover of IPL goes through, I will have a bit more PPL than I am comfortable with, and would consider moving a portion to a company in a similar space. Assuming the deal happens, how would you rate the combined PPL/IPL compared to similar alternatives ENB, KEY, TRP. Could you give a rating for each of the 4 on a scale of 1 -10 for desirability as a long term hold in a balanced portfolio. Looking at total return over a 5 - 10 year period. Thanks.

Q: Hello 5i,

We are considering moving our ENB position into two other stocks, CNQ and EPD.
1. Is CNQ considered to be a safer haven than ENB at this time with higher 3-year upside?
2. Would you recommend EPD over ENB now and for the next 3-years?

Cheers,
Debbie and Jerry

Q: Hello, I'm a 62 year old (almost retired) investor who's focus is now nearly 100% on equities with sustainable and preferably increasing dividends, over time. I currently hold about 7.5% of my investment portfolio in ENB and I am considering raising that stake to 10%. I'd like to know if, in the history of the company, has Enbridge EVER cut its dividend? If it ever did are you able to provide any context as to why the company may have felt it necessary to do so? Thank you!
