Q: I am converting my TFSA to a dividend with some growth portfolio to reduce volatility and hopefully get more sleep. I want to start with 2 etfs to establish diversity. I like DGRC and VGG. I plan to set and forget the etfs once I reach the desired weighting. Do you think this is a good pairing of dividend growers? Can you comment on the somewhat lower average daily volumes of the etfs? Would including CDZ add value? Thank you

Q: Dear 5i
If i have ZSP in my portfolio (RRSP`s, TFSA`s and unregistered acct ) do i need to have VGG . In other words is it different enough to own as well as ZSP or would just owning ZSP be sufficient ?

Q: I am currently managing my TFSA/RRSP funds and some money outside of registered accounts, which are largely individual stocks. With the market volatility, potential recession and war in Ukraine, I am finding it more difficult to keep on top of the individual stocks and am therefore considering going to ETF's. I am a year away from retirement but would be ok with more risk in the TFSA/RRSP's.
Could you please suggest 5 ETF's for the registered accounts and 5 ETF's for the non-registered accounts.

Q: Dear 5i
The above noted ETFs are the ones i commonly use in my RRSP , TFSA and non registered accts .
CDZ and ZLB are used for CDN content and the rest for US content.
I believe there is probably some redundancy in these and was wondering which ETFs could be left out .
Which ETFs would you use for RRSPs , which for the TFSAs and which for the non-registered acct .?

Q: Can you explain why for all periods up to 1 year VGG has a larger drawdown than CDZ? In other words CDZ seems to be less affected by the current expensive growth sell off. Going forward for a 3 year hold, what etf would you favour? Thank you.

Q: First of all thank you for your excellent service. Here's hoping 2022 will be juist a good as 2021.
Question: The ETF portfolio in Money Saver showed a change from VIG to VGG. No explanation was given. Also all the ETF portfolios on the mutual fund and ETF website now have VGG. Can an explanation be provided please? It appears that the expenses are the same but the dividend is much higher for VIG.

Q: Just did a revue of my PORTFOLIO ANALYTICS and have a couple of questions as follows:
Under Fixed Income Defensive I have CBO, VGG & ZDI in my TFSA. Are these okay here or can be added to or any deleted?

Q: My unregistered investment account has a 50% core of VEQT and 5 equally weighted satellites; CEW, VGG, XSU, ZEO and ZQQ. I am considering overweighting CEW and ZEO. Q: Good morning,

VGG is currently held in my TFSA and given that VGG is a proxy for VIG (US Dividend ETDF).

Q1 Is there a withholding tax on VGG in a TFSA account?

Q2. Would it be more advantageous to hold VGG in my Non Registered account?
