Q: My unregistered investment account has a 50% core of VEQT and 5 equally weighted satellites; CEW, VGG, XSU, ZEO and ZQQ. I am considering overweighting CEW and ZEO. Do you think this is a good idea, would you use some of the other satellites or just stick with equal weighting. I would like to maximize the return without unduly increasing the risk. Thank you

Q: Hello folks:

Trying to understand the fees and performances for these ETFs. How come the fees for HXE is so low?! 0.27 as opposed to 0.61 for XEG? and ZEO and of course 1.50 for Ninepoints.(Understandable as it is active mgmt ETF and has a lot of turnover) On fees alone HXE ought to be a winner, no? Yet the results according to the websites don't reflect this...HXE only marginally better compared to XEG. ZEO lags so much. Am I missing something here?

Q: Can you name some Canadian ETF's which will benefit from the switch into materials or oil and gas or value rather than growth and safety? And can you rank them please? And give reasons for buying or not buying?

I know that's a lot to ask but I am interested in your assessment

Thanks for your help as usual

Q: Hi 5i ,
I plan to increase my exposure to oil and agriculture. while doing my research, valuations and the RSIs have increased substantially. For example, provides the following Alerts for LUN and TECK.B -"Stochastic Overbought Reversal' which I assume means that a reversal can happen any day. I assume that some holders are likely to take some profit soon. Most of what I have read says that you should wait for the RSI to come down but I also understand that the RSI can remain elevated for some time. Should I wait? or could these sectors be on a tear?
Please advise and thank you for your help

Q: In your portfolio analytics, you used to have A list of suggested etfs for each sector. I cannot find this list anymore. Has it been removed? Could you please provide a list of recommended etfs for each sector. Thank you

Q: Peter and team
I have held ZEO outside of my balanced portfolio for several years now. As of today it has lost half of what I paid.
Even though it is compromised of the bigger players I am still worried about the solvency of some of the companies. Are there any in this ETF that cause you concern and do you feel this is safe "hold" for the next few years while awaiting recovery.

Q: 8 months ago, most people I know owned something in the cannabis sector
and those who didn't told me they missed a generational opportunity. Since then, the sector fell 65%. Many were wrong, including the management of Constellation,
who bought 38% of Canopy. Could market participants be just as wrong with energy right now? Aren't sector bottoms supposed to "feel" like this? In your answer, could you tell us if there has ever been a sector on the Toronto stock exchange that got destroyed similar to the current energy sector, and whether or not fund managers were also selling? A sector that later returned close to its previous highs? (ps: I wish I could find videos showing what was said close to bottoms back in 2001 and 2009).
