Q: Hi 5i,
Can I have your opinion on averaging down on these in the current climate, say in the next few days,. Without regard for weightings, risk profile etc, could you rank them in order that you would chip away at them?
Thanks

Q: Many investors expect big tobacco to get into Marijuana stocks. Perhaps liability issues might deter them, but they will need to make up for lost sales and diversify.

I seek your opinion on whether it is worth buying one of the following :
British American Tobacco , Phillip Morris (PM.us), or Japan Tobacco.
I am looking for a company with minimal exposure to the US market. I wonder if PM now has significant adverse exposure to the domestic US market after its acquisition of Reynolds.
I’d be thankful for your insight on which ( ---IF ANY---) would be a good choice for dividend growth over 3 or more years.
If you believe none are worth it right now, I would appreciate your thumbs down , if applicable.

Q: Hi Peter and Team,

This is a follow up on your answer to Gervais re: PM and MO. I was just wondering if you can comment on the huge difference in P/E between the two companies. PM is trading at 25.7X while MO's ratio is 8X. Wouldn't MO be a better buy at such a low PE ratio even though about a quarter of its business is in the US?
Great work guys, as usual.

Q: The above group of companies, so called bond proxies medical supply and consumer staples do not seem to be participating in the Trump boost post election. Many have sold off sharply. Do you view this as a buying opportunity?

Q: Any thoughts on PM's quarterly numbers? There seems to be an enormous chasm between the expected earnings per share and what Prism actually delivered. Taking into account the one time items, the gap closes a little but still I'd like your expert opinion on the numbers.

Revenues were up nicely but earnings fell significantly. Do you see anything in the numbers that raises a red flag or cause for concern?

2016 earnings per share estimates were 75 cents, prior to today's q3 numbers. Any guesses what the new estimates will be for 2016?

Thanks for your time.

John
