Q: can you pls compare these software companies...are any of these are a buy?

Q: Have owned ENGH forever and enjoy the growing dividend but looking at the the ten year chart I shake my head and wonder what's wrong. With its balance sheet strength etc why is it so flat and going nowhere? Is this a management problem, industry issues? Could I get your opinion on this? Would you replace it and with what? Thanks

Q: Would 5I give any consideration to including this name to income portfolio?or?Seems to me with a 5+ dividend and growth potential as well.Would it not be a good candidate at current price? Not safe enough? Thanks Larry

Q: Good evening!
Looking to add to my portfolio, and these are all high dividend payers. Could you rank them with regard to safety (primarily preservation of capital with low chance of potential problems on any visible horizon), and then also rank them from best grower to worst grower? Please take credits you think are fair.

I have some money to deploy and I am looking for companies that have the balance sheet to ride out the current situation whether it lasts another two months or >12 months. My basic criteria were those potentially undervalued, dividend over 3%, div growth of at least 5% and a decent payout ratio. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks for your help.

I would like to get your thoughts on CNR and ENGH. I am long CNR and would like to reduce it and add to my position in ENGH. My views are that I get more growth from ENGH and 4.5% dividend vs. CNR call it a 2.5% dividend. I know they are different businesses but comparing the two companies what provides more growth and income opportunity.

Q: Hi Peter, I just started a position in Enghouse. I thought it looked oversold and attractive on free cash flow per share and it’s 4% yield. Also they are beginning to become more acquisitive. Can I get your thoughts on the latest qtr and do you think it is attractive at these levels.

Q: Enghouse just seems to be technically very negative here. I have been waiting for a bounce but would you advise selling at this point?

Q: Is this stock a buy?

Q: I have two questions re: tax loss selling. I have a three year old gain that I can offset by selling the above holdings.

1. First please help me with the math. If I buy a stock for $100, sell it for $90, I have a loss of $10 which would mean I can expect a $2.50 tax loss at a 25% rate. Does this mean that if I wanted to buy the stock back after 30 days, I would only be better off if I buy it back at less than 92.50 per share? Do you have a threshold whereby you must be down by a certain amount to justify a tax loss sale? e.g. 20%? Unless of course you are walking away from a company.

2. Which of the companies listed would you consider buying back after 30 days? I have too many holdings as it is so may just let them all go unless something is particularly interesting. I am overweight technology, underweight everything else but otherwise have a broad mix of funds and stocks.

Q: Do you have any details on the ENGH acquisition?

Q: Hi 5i Team.

I have some names in my TFSA account such as ATD, ATX and ENGH (and maybe some others) that are laggers and would like to move out of them and into something with potentially higher returns.
I also own the other names mentioned above.
What are your thoughts and could you recommend 3 to 5 Canadian and/or US names with the reasons and entry points.
also own NVDA that has grown to a huge percentage of the account.
I know that I should sell some but it has been such a great performer.
