Q: I see that for NTR and HR.UN the RSI is entering oversold territory. What importance do you place in the RSI for a company when considering a buy or sell? I am considering buying these two companies at these levels, would you recommend a purchase now? I am surprised at the sinking stock price of HR.UN compared to other REITs, do you see a particular reason for this? Thank you for your great work.

Q: Greetings 5i Team,
I have room for two of the three names listed above (materials). How would you rank them in order of growth potential 3-5 yr (minimum) hold? Would you offer another Cdn name to throw into the mix?
Thanks as always

Q: Are these two companies suitable for dividend income and some growth over next couple years?
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Hello Peter and Team. I am looking at selling MX to decrease my number of positions in the materials sector and looking to increase my current Nutrien exposure. Do you think that this is the best way to go, or should it be the reverse and what would be your reasoning?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Q: Hi
I hold all these stocks in a non registered account, to take advantage of their dripping and tax advantages. I have the $ to buy another holding. What top 3 companies do you suggest to add to this mix for a long term hold, my goal is the highest dividend possible, with as little risk as possible. Also, do you have any issues with the compaies already held? I also have other growthier holdings in my tfsa as well as etfs for US and International exposure in my RRSP.
thank you
Michele

Q: I need to increase my materials sector. I am a 73 year old value investor with a balanced, diversified 60 /40 portfolio with cash, laddered gic's and fixed ETF's. I am looking at either Nutrien, Methanex, or any other dividend payer that you may suggest as a good fit.
Thank you
Stanley.

Q: I hold the above stocks in my TFSA. Since they pay dividends in USD I plan to journal these holdings to the USD side of my TFSA. Is there any risk that it could be deemed an over contribution by the CRA? I hear of cases where transferring TFSA assets from one account to another causes this over-contribution.
Q: Any idea whey Nutrien went down today Oct 15 2019?
Q: What are your thoughts on Nutrien? I have seen it recently recommended by a few as an entry point for a recovery with a dividend. I have never invested in this company but have thought about it and have always been happy I did not invest in it as it has dissapointed.
Q: With the recent run up in EIF's share price, I've made a solid profit.
I'm now considering selling either half or all of my EIF shares and purchasing partial positions in both MX and NTR. I feel the latter two companies currently represent good value and could be considered "safer" than EIF. I have a 3-5 year time horizon.
Kindly provide your opinion

Q: It looks like the dividend growth % figures are incorrect for NTR on https://www.5iresearch.ca/company/tsx/NTR
The dividend has gone up, but the stats show a sharp 3 year and 5 year decline when there is only 1 year of history. Perhaps pre-NTR history is being included by the provider of this data.
Thanks

Q: based on your comments, it looks like I should sell this investment. do you still recommend selling it even though the share price has been going up recently and it still pays a hefty dividend? If I sell should I wait until just after Sept 30, the next dividend payment date? if not why? what do you currently recommend replacing it with?
thanx

Q: Just trying to decide between NTR and CAE for RRSP with my current industrial/materials weighting being roughly equal. Which of these do you prefer for a 5+ year hold?
Q: Can you recommend a mix of 5-10 good quality Canadian stocks that are not in your coverage list or portfolios. Sort of like possible replacements for all the stocks that were dropped in the last update.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
Q: As you have indicated today, "The quarter did not appear to have much to be excited about", but why the market is so over joyed about it: up 7% with 3 million plus shares traded. It accounts 3% in my portfolio, should I trim it or buy more? thanks.
Q: Kindly provide your view on the Q2 results and guidance for the rest of the year. Looks like both are off/lower, and would it be a buying opportunity or stay away for now. Thanks.
Q: For a long term hold of three years or longer, which one between NTR and ATD.B would you recommend in terms of a combined return (growth + yield)? They are about the same size in market cap now, but NTR has a higher dividend yield while ATD.B is very strong in growth in the past five years. Thanks.
Q: I am a retired, dividend-income investor with a buy-and-hold strategy that I trim-add around core positions. I am a bit light in the Materials sector.
I have been following MX and NTR. Both screen well on the metrics I use (P/E, P/BV, P/CF, P/S, ROE, dividend, dividend growth, payout ratio and consideration to analyst expectations). If I had to select one, I would give the nod to Methanex although RBC Direct Investing rates NTR better. Five questions:
#1 = For a long term hold, which would you pick?
#2 = Even though I am not a trader, for a rebound potential, which would you pick?
#3 = I use a full weighting of 5% for blue chips (examples, BCE, BNS, FTS, TRP). What weighting would you suggest...I am thinking a half position?
#4 = Both stocks are global companies. Which stock is more susceptible to the current trade wars?
#5 = Or....is there a better alternative stock which you like better than MX-NTR?
Five questions...please deduct 5 credits.
Thanks for the great service...Steve

Q: Hi Folks
your opinion please on the above - looking to start 1/2 positions in my TFSA which I have structured for dividend growth and income. Okay to start a position in each at this time or can you suggest others I can take a look at ? Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
