Q: Wanting to diversify my bank stocks heavy cash account into more growth opportunities over the last couple of years , I have added BN, LMN, GSY ( and have done well , thanks ).
I have followed FSV and TFI for years , never buying. Basically , both were too expensive in my eyes. However I now see FSV as an asset light company with blowout earnings and TFI a company with strong management caught in a cyclical downturn. Which would be your next purchase and why ? Thanks. My question relates to the above three stocks that are currently held in my US$ Non Registered Account but that could easily be held in my CDN$ Non Registered Account.

Q1. What are you thoughts on the direction of the US$ value vis a vis the CDN$ value in the short and medium term given the current Tariff situation and president Trump's strong and consistent pressure on the Chairman of the Federal Reserve to immediately lower interest rates by a substantial rate?

Q2. If our view is that the CDN$ may well increase in value when compared to the US$, does it make sense to journal these three stocks from a US$ Non Registered account to a CDN$ Non Registered account?

Q: I have about a 6-7% position in each of bep.un, bip.un and BN. I am thinking of adding a bit of BAM (eg.3%) But i am wondering if adding bam would duplicate too much of the components of the other three. Would Bam add much to my portfolio is there too much duplication?

Any idea why Lumine Group and Topicus are surging? Lately Arc resources has been going down and is it simply due to the price of natural gas? Also, i was thinking i am down alot on brookfield energy partners from the time i bought it, should i stick to it for long term or take a loss and move the monies into the parent company? Q: Good afternoon - I have several Brookfield positions. My BN and BAM positions have more than doubled. My BEPC and BIPC positions have done well but nowhere close to a double. I do get higher dividends in BEPC and BIPC but BAM pays almost 3% at current prices. I'm thinking of selling BEPC and BIPC and putting the proceeds into BAM. The tax consequences are manageable. Your thoughts, please.

Q: Have you warmed up to OWL since your March 2025 comment? OWL currently rates a strong buy in the financial sites I have access to. If your views are unchanged, do you have another private equity-cum-asset manager that you favor? OWL seems to have stronger, favorable buy ratings than BX, or CG. If not OWL, would you prefer Apollo and why.
