Q: if I currently own equal amounts of BN and BNT. for additional purchases why would I buy BNT? the prices for each company are virtually identical for example . I compared the price for both companies for 1 month 3 month 6 month YTD and one year and within pennies the price for both companies is the same. I look forward to your answer. thanks Richard

5i Research Answer:

They are essentially equivalent, BUT, BNT has the exposure to the wealth solution business. A case could be made that this business could do well, and BNT potentially could outperform because of this. Since it can be exchanged into BN shares, BNT is simply a one-sided bet on this side of the business, with no real risk if BN instead outperforms (because of the conversion feature).
