Q: What is your opinion on AltaGas - is it a good investment for gas infrastructure?
For reference I also have Gibson Energy for oil infrastructure.
WCP and TOU are also owned.

Q: I am considering adding to these equities (ALA, BIP.UN, BN, CCA, CPX, DIR.UN, FTS, GSY, GWO, MFC, NWH.UN, TOU, TRP). Are there any you would not purchase more? In what order would you acquire for best overall combination of growth and dividend/distribution for the next two years.

Q: I recently put together a spreadsheet that pulls together all of the Canadian equity holdings that my wife and I have in our registered and non-registered accounts.

This is what we have in the Oil & Gas Sector:

• the three majors SU, CVE and CNQ
• the three pipes TRP, PPL and ENB
• and an assortment of other companies TOU, WCP, ARX, ALA, TPZ, MDI, MER

I’d like to trim this back to 6-8 holdings and, as well, have more of a balanced profile. What would you recommend? And if there are different O&G stocks you’d sub in, please recommend as well.

I have ARX and ALA and some Tou (3 storks)
as natural gas has done well, my holdings do not seem to be able to match Peyto energy
wonder if you can add another name besides the 3 that I have to take advantage of the natural gas prices

Q: HI group i own the above stocks in the energy sector. Unfortunately some of them are lagers > Particularly NRGI ( down 23% have owned since inception???what gives Erik) Also worried about ARX ( Presently )up 36% but dropping rapidly in the last 6 months TOU ( breaking even but worried about performance as of late

ENB + FTS seem to me hanging in there So my question is what changes should i make while the sector is down and out. What should i do sell NRGI and buy TOU OR? (you suggestion please also should i keep or buy something else in the sector another thought is to ARX sell to buy TOU or ALT

Q: What is the best way to play Utilities in Canada & US? Stocks or ETFs? Which ones? Thanks!

Q: I am considering triming the following stocks ALA, BDT, CVE, EFN, GSY, GWO, IAG, MEG, PEY, TVE, TVK, WCP and X. If I do trim, there will be significant Capital Gains. How would you rank them for total return over the next 2 years? How would you rank them for trimming and if different than above ranking, please advise the reason for the difference ? Thanks

Q: Planning on setting up an income portfolio of dividend growing equities. Would the above stocks meet this objective. Already own BAM, BNS, CNQ, DIR.UN, ENB, FRU, FTS, IFC, PEY, POW, SLFm TRP and WCP. Are there other equities other than the above list that you would recommend substituting for one or more of them? Q: I have done good with ala, have a good capital gain in my tsfa, I wnt to sell it and guy something else, the yield is down to about 3%, I don't see a lot of upside in the dividend, thinking of buying sobo, their yield 7 %, I have a lot in pipelines have have done well with them, what say you, do have over stocks that you would suggest, looking for yield, and I have lots in the banks already

I hold AltaGas and was thinking of swapping for South Bow. Thinking better dividend at a minimum. What are your thought on this switch for a long term hold. Which do you think will have teh better overall return 5 years out?

Q: I have held these two stocks for a long time but I am frustrated with their performance. They have been flat in the past 5 years. I am thinking of selling both and repacing them with ALA. Am I wrong and can you give me your thoughts on Alta gas or do you have a better replacement idea. Thank You.

Q: Following Donald Trump's recent election victory, utility stocks have experienced a pullback. Given the current valuation, would you consider it a good entry point given the recent weakness? Please also rank it

Q: If Trump were to win the US Election he suggested he would create a Dept overseen by Elon Musk to reduce US spending by 1/3rd. One of his targets is Green Energy which clearly he would be happy to eliminate.

How would this affect Renewable Producers like BEPC. Northland Power. Algonquin and other TSX wind n Solar Producers with operations in the US as well as other Canadian Power Generators like Capital Power and Altagas?

Would Trump go as far as to reduce the mandated usage of corn based ethanol or this would not be a target as it would hurt the US Ag industry?
