Q: I'd like to increase investments in industrial, consumer discretion and consumer staples and also increase U.S. holdings.
I'm considering Amazon and COST for consumer names - are there other U.S. names you would recommend in these sectors and please suggest a U.S. industrial as well.

The following companies are being released as CDRs tomorrow: BlackRock Inc., Constellation Brands Inc., Deere & Co., Palo Alto Networks Inc., ServiceNow Inc. and Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.

Q: Hello 5i,
I need to increase my U.S. exposure in 1) healthcare 2) consumer discretionary and 3) consumer staples.
Can you please recommend 2 stocks and 1 ETF for each of these sectors for a 3-5yr hold.

Q: 1. What percentage do you advise allocating to discretionary sector.
2. Included are non-US names because of pricing power/ controlled supply. If I missed any from your favs, please add to the list.
3. Recently you answered my question on industrial stocks based on
a) core [large, defensive names]
b) high growth regardless of size
c) recent strength and positive momentum.
Applying that to my list of discretionary stocks, please rank in each category (1-3, with 1 strongest)

Q: Which do prefer as a purchase for a 1 to 2 year hold. RET appears super cheap, and could be a multi-bagger if any success. My concern is buying something like ATZ as an example, only to have it go down and then hold at a loss for years waiting for it go back.

Q: Hi 5i,
In an otherwise balanced portfolio, I'm looking for some ideas for my TFSA.
Current holdings are KXS, LULU, HPS AND ATS.

I'm open to adding to the above names but was wondering if you
could you please recommend 10 Canadian and 10 US stocks that you feel would work well in a TFSA at this time in the market.

Q: Hi, I sold CROX and ATZ both for a tax loss but both have now come back and seem to have good momentum. Would you be buying either or both of these now? Do you prefer one over the other? I’m also significantly short on international equities. Q: I have had these 2 companies in my rrsp portfolio for over 2 and half years now. usb has been up and down but not doing anything and cvs was up nicely and now i reached the even mark on it. I would like to replace both of these what will be your suggestion would you have that i can replace these 2 with what other stocks please and thank you
