Q: Hello,

From all the companies in any of the 5i portfolios, would you be able to list which have been buying back shares or have had high insider buying within the last 6 months?

Thank you.

Q: Hello 5i
It's my understanding that GFL (industrial sector) was added to the BE portfolio in May 2025. Were there a total of two purchases totalling a 2.5% new position weight for that equity?
GFL's CEO is Patrick Dovigi and 5i considers it a big plus that Dovigi is also the founder of GFL.
1) can you please compare his pay package to those of the CEOs at WM, WCN and RSG?
2) in light of 2 above, can you shed any light about the governance of GFL and profitability of that company when C-suite compensation is factored into your thinking?
3)Dovigi's 2024 compensation seems out-sized by many factors. Was there a specific reason for that in 2024 or does relative overcompensation persist over multiple years at GFL?
Thanks in advance,

Q: Hello 5i,

We are looking at our fixed income and dividend portion of our portfolio. Dividend stocks are 6% of our overall portfolio.

Bam 3.19%
AW 2.59%
BEPC 5.41%
DIR 6.69%
NTR 3.95%

We want to add another 2% to dividend stocks. Add equally to the above or, add ZEB or CDZ?

Thank you

Q: Why would I want to hold these in the current economic conditions? If things change can they reach highs again or do you predict further downward movement? Appreciate your insight.

Q: Hi Peter, I would like to get your opinion regarding a TFSA income portfolio with a bit of growth coming from Lumine. Can you give me your thoughts on dividend safety and dividend growth of the following. The objective is to use income in retirement and have a bit of growth. Dividends have been targeted at 4-5% as an average.
thank you in advance

Q: I want to like SHOP but get put-off by the (forward) P/E. MELI scores better on P/E and RoE and appears to have momentum. Then there's SE, which shares MELI's P/E but shows better RoE growth; OTOH, it's somewhat more opaque.

I can see how SHOP might stand out on the basis of its global reach (i.e., which offsets possible weakness in North America), but have to wonder if, in the new world order, SouthEast Asia is the territory for e-commerce growth; ideas?

Q: Hit "enter" to fast on my last question. Looking for some ideas with the understanding you can't offer direct recommendations. I have 40 K to add to my non-reg account. I have full positions in all the pipelines, OLY, GWO, BNS, CU, NPI, BIR, PEY, TPZ, CNQ, PRL and BMO. I have no need for any income for at least five years, not opposed to going overweight if necessary, have lots of higher yielders so would perhaps benefit from some choices with capital gain and dividend growth potential versus just high yield.

Q: Hi,
What is you insight on TSU-T? Is it a good and better risk and reward pick after it fall from the highs of C$40 in Insurance business? Is there major problem with its business? Will it recover or its better to go with Intact IFC:T or Fairfax FFH-T?
Thanks
