Q: hi,
looking at recent earnings reports ( last was final year 2021/fourth quarter 2021 march 23,2022 release ), CPLF looks pretty good to me. it has growing revenue, profit, EBITDA, as well as a significant decreasing net loss. it seems to be in a business that is not going away, even with current economic conditions. it is extremely under the radar. it has positive cash balance. it is way down in price. do you think this is a good time to nibble away and add to a position? what are your current thoughts on this one? why do you think there is no coverage of this one in any investing/business media? cheers, chris

Q: I've traded around my position in ILMN for a few years and was thinking of adding. I like the long term potential of the sector and the regular consumables income. However, I'm wondering if CRSP is better value - less downside and similar upside. I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Q: hi folks:
what do you think is the sensitivity of oil/gas stock prices are to the actual price of oil/gas?
one side believes high prices (of stks and the commodity) are due mostly to supply shortages and the ukraine war
the other side believes that these 'issues' are secondary to the FCF generated by these companies - and all will be debt free and paying out large divvies even at the $70 oil level - and this makes it completely different than any other time in history
i am curious to hear your 'side'
thanks

A. Are you insinuating that there is a "value" aspect to growth stocks?
B. Please name your top 5 growth stocks as defined

Q: Please comment on the recent results from these companies. ECOM results were good with quarterly cashflows of $2M but the stock is still down 50% from a few weeks ago. What gives? Is it a good buy here?
Q: You have discussed bear markets and crashes often in the past as typically short painful spans of time, duration usually as 6-12 months.
What about "recessions"? Please provide your top 5 coaching advice / tips for investors in terms of understanding and weathering recessions.

Q: Hello team,
Given the situation in the market, I would like to sell some stuff to recover the taxes I paid on capital gains back in 2020. But before doing that, I have a tax question: How do I recover the taxes paid on net capital gains in previous years? Let's say that I had made a capital gain of 100K in 2020 of which I had to pay taxes on 50K. Now, assuming my income hasn't changed, if I declare 50K in capital losses this year, do I get back all tax paid on my 2020 capital gains?
I know you are not tax experts but I hope you can give me a quick and general answer.
Thanks for your guidance! :)
