Q: Hi Everyone at 5i!!
I have hit the breakeven point with ICE and am thinking of selling it and buying another more growthy US holding. This is in my TFSA. I was thinking of adding it to my Microsoft. shares. I have Nvida already. Could you suggest any other US stocks? Would you consider keeping ICE??

Q: What would your top handful of stocks be in a TFSA with a 5-10 year time horizon.
Assuming nobody likes capital losses, especially in a TSFA.

Q: Aritzia stock was done close to 4 per cent today. I read an article that looks like it came out today that exposed problems with the work place culture and complaints from employees. Q: I currently own Brookfield Corp Preferred Share, BN.PF.A.
And I'm wondering whether I should hold on to it. It has a dividend yield of 6.31%, but I'm interested in knowing where you see the share price going. Or perhaps you can recommend something with better prospects at this point in the cycle.

Q: With regards to the shift in consumer thinking related to moving away from using fossil fuels for home heating/cooling, are there any companies that would stand to benefit from the shift towards heat pumps?

Trane and Honeywell come to mind but are they actually good companies for investors? The 3 to 5 year charts show them as being somewhat rangebound.

Are there perhaps other companies? Or companies that supply the parts for the heat pumps?

Q: WELL ( even) , EIF (up), EGLX (ouch ), are my only TFSA holdings and are in equal amounts.

Would you give 3 of your best picks of Canadian small caps ( other than the above ) with reasons why. I can handle risk.

Q: I've been reviewing CSU's shareholder letters and kicking myself that I didn't find such a legendary CEO 15 years ago. The letters make it very clear how much of a unicorn ceo the guy was/is. Which got me thinking, are there any early stage Mark Leonard's out there now that are the kind of ceo's you want to bet on, but younger and their companies are less developed. So my question is, if you had to bet which current CEO's of companies in North America under $10B are likely to be extremely successful based on their business acumen, and shareholder friendliness. Which CEO's would those be (the next Mark Leonard's)? Thx

Q: In a US $ registered acct with a growth tilt, equities that we hold in a 'smaller' % (1%-2.5% range) of total portfolio are as follows: ADBE, BKNG, CROX CRWD, META, SMCI . Would you put new money into any of these ? At what price ? And what approximate % of a total portfolio would you go up to for any of them ?

Q: QCOM is not expensive and their financials look OK but it has been going sideways for some time and has not participated in the most recent rally. Would you consider letting it go and can you suggest another US company with momentum?

Q: My portfolio is recovering well, but still down about 5% down from its high because of the small caps that I own. They are all cheap and profitable companies, but some are still down 50%. If we go into recession will they crash? How should I deal with these companies? Should I be taking losses now to protect from future losses? I just don't understand the market right now because usually small caps are the first to recover. My original plan was to sell 1/2 after they recovered but that isn't happening.
