Q: You put forward these two stocks as good growth options but I note the reco was when these stocks were 25/50% lower price than current. Is XBC still a buy at $8+ and LSPD at $87+ given the run up over 2020?

Q: Thanks for all the advice and enjoy some quiet time over the holidays.
After the year end flurry of tax loss selling and portfolio adjustments, I will have new contributions to well balanced RESP and TFSA in 2021. Could you suggest 3 companies to add for each for long term holds and growth ?
Cheers, Peter

Q: Peter and Team:
I own 15K score Media @ 35cents. The takeover of Great Canadian looks more certain and that means very few public gaming companies to invest in, Score being one of them. Do the chances of it being licensed in most of the canadian provinces look like it will come to fruition? The USA states? The last cash raise should help the balance sheet, but for how long? Your opinion please about adding to my position forgetting about sector weights. Would you also compare it to Mitek, which you spoke favourably about on Dec 24th. Which would you go with, if either, or would you wait until the possible retraction in Jan. ( Sorry, market timing. )
Thanks,
Ben.

Q: Is this a good stock to buy?
Q: When Maxr launches their Worldview Legion Satellites next year can you see what kind of recurring revenue the company may take in? The only information I can find in press releases is that the service is oversubscribed and that the cost associated with building the satellites will drop and revenues and EPS will increase, Any information that 5i can see from your sources would be much appreciated. Thx
Q: Can you please provide your top 3-5 Cdn and U.S. large cap picks that based on current valuations are poised to provide the greatest total return by the end of 2021 irrespective of sector etc?

Q: I am starting to think about what should I buy with the $6K I can add to my TFSA in January. I like growthy names, and currently have BYD, DSG, ENGH, KXS, LSPD, REAL SHOP, and WELL in my TFSA. I have a well diversified portfolio, so not worried about the sector.
I was thinking of NVEI, DND, or maybe Topicus. Or some of your US favourites: CRWD, U, VEEV, PLTR.
Can you suggest your 2 top favourites from Canada and the US for a TFSA for a long term hold.
Topicus is supposed to be trading on the TSX Venture exchange. Do you think that will limit investor interest? I decided a few years ago that one of my rules was never to buy anything on the Venture exchange. But maybe I will have to break that rule (I will get Topicus shares from the CSU spinout). What is your overall opinion of Topicus, and how would you rank it in terms of growth prospects and capital appreciation in relation to the stocks I have in my TFSA, and NVEI, and DND.
Thanks,
Paul

Q: Hello team,
Thanks to your suggestions, I am considerably up in tech. I bought lemonade awhile ago and am planning on selling tomorrow. I also own Crowdstrike and I am thinking of adding to my positions, although with the recent gains, I am thinking of maybe holding off. If you could please suggest a momentum growth stock that maybe hasn’t been getting attention lately, or if it is better to hold off till after tax selling in January. Love 5i! Thank you for service and Happy Holidays!!

Q: Hi,
Is it a good time to start a position in ENGH? Half or full position? Long term hold in registered account.
Also, would you have some buy recommendations / favorites for mid to large cap names. 4 to 5 names, no specific sectors, 10 year+ hold. Thank you.
Best wishes to the team for the holiday season!

Q: Happy Holidays everyone! I am relatively new to 5iResearch (few months) and must say that my results have been outstanding to say the least (SHOP, WELL, XBC to name a few - AC being the only one down so far). Thank you for that 5i.
I hold ET but am negative, as I am with BPY.UN (by more than 20% on both). I need to increase exposure in Technology, Industrials and both Consumer Cyclical and Defensive and decrease in Real estate. I do like some revenue but it is not essential for the next 3-5 years.
In no special order I am thinking LSPD or SYZ, TFII or WSP, PLC and PBH. What are you suggestions for growth here. Please comment and/or place in order of preference - objective being to recapture lost value in BPY.UN and ET over coming 12 months.
I understand this may represent many questions. Please take necessary credits. Thank you.

Q: I have made a double on this stock in a very short time and it is almost 40 % of my total TFSA portfolio. I use my TFSA for most aggressive stocks and the account is only 3% of my total cash/ RRSP portfolios.
You seem to think that January may see a fair amount of volatility this year as investors cash out some of the oversized returns, especially in tech, that have been made this year.
I am looking at adding XBC, WELL, STC, SCR
While writing this I am thinking the best action would be to sell 50% of EGLX now and keep the rest as it certainly has momentum and then wait on the others for the new year. What do you think? Any other small caps that you might consider if you wanted to take a flyer on?
All the best, Derek
