Q: Question 1: Considering buying a few hundred shares of ADTX (NASDAQ). There seems to have been significant growth over the last year and since the company launched (2017), and I like the biotechnology space and don't have any positions here yet. Can anyone provide some insight for a beginner investor on this company? I have a 2-3 year timeline and am looking for growth, okay with some risk. Feel free to suggest some alternatives to ADTX if you have some.

Question 2: I'm interested in adding some clean / renewable energy stocks to my portfolio, specifically US companies but also open to Canadian. I've been watching AQN and BEP.UN, but perhaps I'm missing some interesting ones that will benefit from the US being back in the Paris Agreement (!!). What are your favourites in this space right now?

Question 3: I currently work in A.I., and I like NVDA as a clear leader in this space. Do you think their stock is over-priced currently? It's one of the most expensive stocks in the A.I. technology space and seems too high when compared to MSFT or other players. Can you rank your favourites in the A.I. space?

Thanks 5i Team, and happy new year to everyone!

Q: i have to be aware of the one answer begets another question syndrome but when you say
While we are not scared of high valuation stocks we prefer to do this on more-reasonably priced companies in case the entire market rolls over.

i have to ask what specific companies you might have in mind?
thanks

Q: According to Portfolio Analytics, I'm underweight in Industrial, Consumer Defensive, Utilities and Energy. Can you please give me three names to consider in each category? I'm also overweight in North America so, to the extent that there are good international names in these categories, please include them. I have a fairly long investment horizon: 5 years until my children hit post-secondary and 20-30 years before retirement.
Thanks.

Q: With the sector rotation taking place I'm interested in buying or adding dividend paying companies that could benefit from the change taking place. With that in mind, and hoping for some growth and relatively secure dividends, could you please suggest what you consider to be your top 5 Canadian and 5 American companies that could benefit from this sector rotation.

Q: Hi,

I purchased these utility and telecoms largely because of their low beta. In the recent downturn, they fell as much or more than hi growth stocks like SHOP, FB, AMZN or NVDA. AQN was down over 40%?? How do you account for that? Seems to me I'm better off ignoring 'safety' and going for growth?

Q: The valuations on companies with a favourable ESG component are lofty at best. Do you see any in this sector that are still reasonably priced? A dividend would be preferable.
Thanks for your consideration.

Q: Hello 5i. I would like your opinion on the renewable energy industry. These companies seem to have done well over the yr. Would you classify these as being cyclical and what would there cycle be? I am looking at getting into these but find their valuations expensive currently. Do you see a catalyst for their prices falling in the near future or do they have momentum on their side?

Q: Hello Can I get your analysis on NextEra. It seems to be comparable to Bep.un which I hold, but bigger. I am looking at this for a long term investment. If you think this is a worthwhile investment, would there be a particular time of year to buy or just jump in and slowly accumulate to 5% weighting? Thanks
