Q: With all the volatility we are seeing, I am looking at trading a few stocks so I would like a few suggestions from you. These should be names I wouldn't have a problem holding if the trades don't work out. Both US and Canada. Thank you in advance.

Q: Hello Peter,

How would you trade the collapse of SVB? Banks and Financial companies are taking a hit. Is it time to buy? If yes, what would you prefer- BAC,MS, BX? Or none of the above.
Do you think there is a contagion risk here?

Q: Hi Guys
Can you list a few U.S. stocks with attractive Free cash flow Yields ( using EV instead of MCAP) preferably with stable cash flows, that trade at attractive Forward P/E ratios.
Looking also for a decent dividend. I was pondering IBM, their interest coverage looks decent, but their Total Debt/EBITDA looks a bit high at 4.0x

Q: We have BN (full position) and BAM in Canadian $ accounts. 5i appears to consider these very good choices for part of a portfolio foundation. Do you have similar choices to recommend that we could put in our US$ accounts (TFSA, RRIF) ?

Q: I recall once seeing a link to an explainer on all of the different Brookfield offerings. Can you please repost this. Is it up to date with the new BAM / BN thing?

Ideally hoping to see a tabulated summary including:
name of holding
nature of business
yield
ideal account type to hold in for optimal tax efficiency
closest competitor names

Which offering would you recommend for green energy income investment in an unregistered CDN$ account? Any comments on when is a good time to buy given recent structural changes and interest rate changes.

Q: I hold the above within a RRIF. In total they are now worth $49K cost was $64K, current income approx $2K.

What do you think about selling them all and reinvesting in AAPL, MSFT, BRK and AMZN. Any alternatives you can suggest. I don't mind forgoing the income.

Q: I'm interested in taking a position in BX. I prefer do it in my TFSA, or I could do it in my Margin if necessary - what do you suggest? Also back in Sept. you recommended it at $78-79 entry point. Q: Can you provide a 'buy' list for a person wanting to deploy $200,000 (inside RRSP) with the goal of creating 5% or more sustained cash flow - as well as growing the original capital to keep up with inflatiion? We do not have company pensions - this would serve to supplement our government pensions.
Thinking, 20 stocks across all sectors @ $10,000 each (or 5%)
Also could you include 10 growth stocks (inside TFSA) for a total of $250,000 - gotta have some fun ;)
