Q: HEy 5i, I’m tired of looking at Comcast in my portfolio (down 37%) and looking to swap it out with Blackstone which I believe has a better future. I believe this is an upgrade even though it’s in a different sector. What do you folks think.

Q: Do you see any compelling investments in these asset managers that have experienced large drawdowns? Currently, I am only holding BN at a 5.3% core holding, big fan of their investment strategy, allocation, themes and Bruce Flatt. Out of the other names listed, they all have strong returns over the long term. Would you be a buyer of any of these currently or should I just stick with BN over the long term? How would you rank them now? What is the max allocation to BN one should have for the long term? I know you are very comfortable with this name. Thanks!
Q: Hi Everyone at 5i !! There has been talk of private equity potentially running into some headwinds . Would Blackstone be one of those companies?
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: These two stocks have been dropping like a stone of late.
How do you feel about these two stocks in terms of risk/reward, and are these stocks approaching a support level where one can consider adding to their position?
Thank you and I look forward to your sage advice.

Q: Why is Blackstone Inc. (BX) falling so much and is it a good time to buy? What's the long term prognosis for this company.
Can you please comment on this...."Blackstone allowed investors to redeem 7% of the $82 billion fund in the first quarter, exceeding the typical 5% withdrawal limit. Blackstone employees redeemed an additional 0.9% of the fund.
In all, Blackstone allowed investors to pull $3.7 billion out of its namesake private credit fund, commonly referred to as BCRED. The fund saw new commitments of $2 billion, leaving it with $1.7 billion worth of net withdrawals.
The news is expected to have ripples across the private credit sector, which already has been under stress in light of developments at Blue Owl Capital. The fund sold $1.4 billion in assets and halted redemptions at its private retail debt fund last month, rattling investor confidence."

Q: I know you still like BN even as a top pick for TFSA but since all the other private credit names are suffering this one seems to be lagging. I know you feel it is not the same, but it seems like others see it as similar to Apollo, Blackstone, or KKR and are lumping it with that group. Can you please explain how we need to view this company differently and how to remain patient?
Q: Hi Team: Bx looks attractive after the recent pullback. Do you like the company?
Is this an opportuity to buy? How does it compare to Brookfield for long term growth and income? Thanks for all you do.
Gary

Q: I asked AI (go figure!) why BX is sliding and if there is lending exposure to AI related software CO’s. Would you agree that this may partially be the reason behind share price declines?
Applicability of your theory: High. Blackstone is a major lender to the software sector. If AI hurts software profitability, Blackstone's loan book takes a hit.
• Downside Risk: Moderate to High. The combination of high valuation, "soft" guidance, and genuine exposure to software disruption makes BX vulnerable in this specific correction.

Q: As a dividend investor could you give me 10 companies outside of Canada that have at least a 2% div. and some growth, sectors aside. Appreciate your service!
Q: The USA banks have reported excelling results this week.
Do you expect the same from the Canadian banks?
And given that I am adding to my financial holdings is the risk reward better with US banks or Canadian banks?
Finally where would you place BLK and BLX in terms of potential upside in the next few years?

Q: In researching the Swedish company EQT, a global powerhouse in finance (listed as EQT on the Stockholm exchange ) I found that EQT.st is the largest holding in PSP, the US-listed ETF that holds alternative asset managers and private equity companies. Many of the businesses held by PSP look attractive, including for example: KKR, OWL, APO, CG and BX. Do you think PSP the ETF is an attractive buy currently over EQT.st? I much prefer EQT.st but I ask you whether you would rather hold one or more of the individual constituents of PSP? If the latter, which companies, if any, do you think have good financial prospects and are at reasonably good prices to buy now?

Q: Good afternoon,
My question relates to the above three stocks that are currently held in my US$ Non Registered Account but that could easily be held in my CDN$ Non Registered Account.
Q1. What are you thoughts on the direction of the US$ value vis a vis the CDN$ value in the short and medium term given the current Tariff situation and president Trump's strong and consistent pressure on the Chairman of the Federal Reserve to immediately lower interest rates by a substantial rate?
Q2. If our view is that the CDN$ may well increase in value when compared to the US$, does it make sense to journal these three stocks from a US$ Non Registered account to a CDN$ Non Registered account?
Thank you and I'll await your sage advice.

Q: Having bough BX at its lows of this April in the low $120's, I am debating trimming and re deploying. Based on metrics; P/S, P/B, P/B and other relevant measures; is there still potential for a higher run up. Analysts have a slight downside rating.

Q: Have you warmed up to OWL since your March 2025 comment? OWL currently rates a strong buy in the financial sites I have access to. If your views are unchanged, do you have another private equity-cum-asset manager that you favor? OWL seems to have stronger, favorable buy ratings than BX, or CG. If not OWL, would you prefer Apollo and why.
