Q: Hi 5i team!

To follow up on this question from Jan 5th (with a twist):

Please give me your top 3 sectors for 2026 (in order of preference) with top 3 picks for each sector for USA.

Also, when do you plan on releasing your AI blog article?

Q: Hello team,
Based on a bit of research I have done, I would like to buy these companies in the following order: ASML, SMCI, ANET, AMD, AVGO, SITM, ARM, PWR, PLTR

I am buying them to further focus my portfolio on AI for the next 5-10 years. I already have the hyeprscalers and the usual AI suspects but, somehow, I missed on the companies listed above.

Please deduct as many credits as needed for the following questions:
What do you think of this list?
Would change the order based on their resent declines/Valuation?
Would you drop any of the above based on their excessive valuation which may not meet the expected growth in next 5-10 years?
Would you wait a bit more before you buy or just proceed today?
Is there a better company that can substitute any of the above based on moat in AI? Any other company that you think I should also consider?

Q: NVDA has been kind of left in the dust this year, up "only" 39%. LRCX, though, is up 90%, WDC is up 185% and SEA is up 190%. All good for me since I own all four but I'm wondering why the market seems to have turned away from NVDA. Especially in the last month, SEA and WDC are up 48% and 58% respectively, in the last thirty days.

Q: Entegris seems to be in an interesting niche in the semi space, providing specialty engineered chemicals and materials required in the manufacturing process.

Stanley Druckenmiller recently initiated a new position.

Revenues have shrunk 2% over the past year. Wouldn't you expect that with the huge cap ex spend going towards AI right now that they'd be growing? Other semis like KLAC, ASML, LRCX have grown revenues ~25% over the same period.

Why hasn't ENTG participated in this?

There was a healthy jump(twice that of the index) in the stock price of Lam Research. Are you aware of any reason for this event? I would appreciate your view on the company and whether it is advisable to jump in or wait for a pullback?

Q: LRCX and AMAT both fell hard after ASML reported. Is the drop overdone? Are LRCX or AMAT buyable? If yes, at or below what price on each? And between the LRCX and AMAT, do you have a preference?

LRCX reported recently. What are your thoughts on these numbers and the company in general? Who are thier main competitors? What will be the main drivers of growth for the next few quarters and are they positioned correctly to take advantage of any tailwinds from global AI demand expansion.
