Q: Hi 5i Team,

I have been trying to manage close to the BE Portfolio since the start of 5i and I want to continue.

I have some weightings I could top up now and I want to check if we should be adding to these today given recent run ups or if there are other names in the BE portfolio you would suggest as better adds today?

The names I was looking at first were PBH, TFII, KXS, and SIS but would like to hear if there's other names in the BE Portfolio we should be more excited about for new money today?

Q: I need to sell a small part of my holdings in either SIS:CA or BYD;CA. My intention is to remain invested in both these companies for at least 5 years. Which of the 2 would you suggest I trim?

Q: I own TRP, ENB and PPL in my regular investment account. In my TFSA I hold small positions in KEY and SIS. I am retired and looking for income primarily but think 4 pipelines is probably too many. I am thinking of selling either PPL or KEY and buy more SIS. Thoughts and what pipeline would you sell?

Q: I’m 71 years old. As I get older I’ve tried to simplify my portfolio, going from about 50 stocks years ago, to my current portfolio of about 16 stocks, 3 ETFs and 15% cash.
I am a subscriber to your Portfolio Tracking and Analysis service and I’m told I need to make changes to reach a suggested asset allocation and portfolio diversification. Right now I’m tech, utilities and financial services heavy.

Here’s what I’d like to do:
The following set up gives me an allocation of 70% equities, 20 % bonds and 7% cash. I’m comfortable with this and have gone through many 20 and 30% corrections in the past 30 years without too much despair.

In my Canadian cash account I’d have CDZ, FTS, AQN.
Locked in RSP (LIRA) I would have AAPL, ZSP, ZEM.
Unlocked RIF I ‘d have CLF, ZAG.
TFSA would have QQQ, ZEM, ZDI, CSU, TOI, SIS.
I’d like cash around 8% of portfolio.

I’m wondering if I have my portfolio diversification covered and if the right stocks or ETFs are in the appropriate accounts for best tax efficiencies?
Your input would really be helpful.
Thanks
Frank

Q: Dear 5i,
Here are the stocks I have left to purchase from your Balanced portfolio, can you please place these in order or how attractive they are at this time for a long-term hold? Also, is QQQ a good starting point for US focus holding in a registered account? Thank you.

Q: Hello guys,
I was hoping you could rate the current buy-ability of these industrial discretionary companies (byd, doo,mg,tt,sis) and of these clothing discretionary companies (goos, lulu, nke, atz) with 10 being a great buy, for new money. Any concerns, and is there anything similar that you like better?

Thanks,

Peter

Q: Please share your analysis of the recent results. Looks like most of the growth is driven by Handicare and very little or no organic growth. Please share your comments in organic vs. inorganic growth.
What are the future prospects after acquisition
Will dividends be maintained and what about dividend growth.
Will Savara be able to generate decent cash flow or will they have to resort to debt to manage new acquisition and future plans?

Q: All these CAD stocks have been severely hurt today, do you know the reasons why? True that some have had worst than expected earnings releases but it looks like there has been a wholesale seller out there
