Q: This question concerns the technology sector in a well-diversified Canadian portfolio (~30 holdings), focused slightly toward growth.
The current technology holdings are CSU, SHOP, DSG and KXS. With the exception of KXS, the holdings are all positive. We are considering replacing KXS with LMN.
For a long term hold, which of KXS and LMN would you prefer and why?
Q: How recession-resilient would you see WELL - especially in an abnormal, more prolonged downturn ? How would you compare this company's resiliency relative to that of other small and mid-cap companies ? Could you please also compare specifically to LMN ?
Q: I hold LMN and CSU and need to trim back LMN. It's been great but now at 6% I think its prudent to reduce to 3 or 4%. Looking for suggestions of what to do with the proceeds. Thanks John
Q: Equal weight with the noted companies. Would like to add a 6th with equal weight as well. Will set and forget for 10+ years. Can you please provide 3-4 possible compelling options. Ty.

Q: Hi group in light of the new export rules for LNG exports in the US would you sell ARC (750 shares) and replace it with TOU?(in theory TOU should have much better upside. Your thoughts please
Also should I trim LMN + TOI they are both sitting around 10 % of my portfolio...I recently trimmed BYD with the hope that on a pullback i can buy back all 3...What would be good levels to buy back in ...Thanks for your help

Q: Hello Peter and 5i team,
My TFSA contains the aforementioned stocks in roughly even percentages except for nominal investments in Park Lawn and DRX. I would like to make my annual contribution to one or some of these companies and would like to know what your order of preference would be for buys/adds at this time. Please also include Celestica in your considerations.
Also, are there any companies in this list that you would consider undervalued at this time?
Thank you.
Q: My only 2 TFSA holdings, held in equal amounts are WELL ( down) and EIF ( up ). I like EIF and hold it in greater amounts in my non registered account where I intend to keep it but expect it will be dead money for at least 6 months while Northern Mat recovers.
Am looking at selling EIF and along with my $7,000 contribution buying CALF , GLXY, and LMN in equal amounts, leaving WELL the largest holding at approximately 40% weighting ; the others at 20 % each. My TFSA is approximately 4 % of my total non registered and RRIF accounts and is not considered material so I wish to rebalance it towards stocks with more growth ( and risk ) potential.
I tend to go crazy with market timing : any advice on how to proceed on the sale and purchase of these? Any potential “ flashing red lights “ with this move ? Thanks. Derek
Q: I have very small positions in both of these stocks. I am wondering about consolidating them into just one. In your opinion, which would be the best one to hold over the next three years?
Q: Hi I have my RRSP distributed at around 8% or 12% on these stocks, would you change anything , I'm heading to retirement in 7 months from now and like to know if you would recommend any modification. I can sustain drops of 10% , which I handle by doing nothing.
Thank you 5i, you have been good to me!!!
Q: I currently have BBU, BBUC, BN, CRWD, LSPD, MSFT and U in my TFSA account. BN, CRWD and MSFT have shown good growth but I have losses in the other stocks. I will be investing $7000 in my TFSA for 2024. Would you suggest any changes to my current stock holdings? For my 2024 TFSA investment, would you suggest adding to one on my current stock holdings or investing in another stock such as LMN, AMZN or LMN? Thank you
Q: Good day guys ,
Missed the bus on these 2 as they have went north .. what entry points would u suggest to start a position for a long term hold ..
thx
Mark
Q: Dear 5i,
I own CSU (10%), LMN (2.5%) and SHOP (4%) in my TFSA.Is it a good idea for me to increase LMN to 5% and SHOP to 6% to increase weight in the technical sector? Is it better to start a new position(s) such as KXS, DSG, or TOI? This is a small diversified TFSA, and protecting the portfolio with some growth is the main goal.
Thank you.
Q: The following is from a recent article in the G&M:
"Investors typically regard a cheap stock as one with a PEG ratio around 1. By that standard, many of the Magnificent Seven look to be reasonably priced.
Amazon (a PEG of 1.3), Alphabet (1.3), Meta (1.2) are on the borderline of cheap, while Nvidia (0.7) looks to be a downright bargain, according to calculations this week by Robert Armstrong of the Financial Times.
Microsoft (2.6) and Tesla (2.1) are somewhat pricey by PEG’s reckoning but not outrageous. Only Apple (4.6) looks like a true luxury item, perhaps because it’s perceived as a superbly managed, ultrasafe defensive stock."
What are the PEG ratios of SHOP, CSU, LMN, and TOI?
