Q: I have been steadily building a position in ATS over the past year.

Recently you answered a question ranking to buy ATS last for long-term growth potential, behind TRI, ATD & DOL.

Also from a recent response, ATS’ eps was expected to increase by 50% next fiscal.

So I’m not sure where to put new money amongst the above companies. Thoughts?

Portfolio-building sometimes feels like making castles in the sand; it starts looking decent, then a wave comes out of the blue ;0)

Q: I already hold a bit of TFII and WSP but would like more in industrials. I’m thinking of either adding to TFII or starting a position in STN or TT. Is there still good reason to add to TFII? If not, both STN and TT have good momentum, but as I already hold WSP, would TT make more sense?

Thanks.

Q: This is for a 2 year hold. I am 15% down on BCE. I also see stocks like SMCI crushing it.

For total growth of 50% over 2 years, which do you prefer?

FYI in Feb 2024, I am seeing articles on BCE such as:

Q: Peter and team,
I am going to require cash in a year for estate planning purposes. My plan is to take cash slowly over the year from my winning stocks and put it into PSA until required. My only losing stock is NTR. Would you recommend selling it now because it is most likely dead money or hold with a good chance there may be a bounce in the coming year.

Thanks so much

Cathy

Q: Hello 5i research team, I will soon be liquidating a brokerage account containing shares in 18 companies, probably within 2 or 3 months. How would you suggest I proceed with the timing and pace of the sale? As soon as possible, gradually, according to the wishes of the heirs, or at the deadline, to take advantage of market exposure for longer? Should I rely on technical analysis to determine the timing of the sale? If so, which indicator (ma, rsi, macd, or others) and how often (daily, weekly or monthly)? Thank you for your collaboration, Eric

Q: Good morning I have been a holder of ATZ for a while pretty much back to even in terms of cost. I was wondering what has been driving this lately I can't seem to find any news that could be driving this? I hold this in a TFSA in your opinion is that the best account to hold this company in.? Thanks

Q: With steel prices having moved up a fair bit over the last few months, I have been surprised at the continued weakness in shares of STLC. Now down to $40. The company paid a $3.00 special dividend in each of the past 2 years, and also pays a regular 42 cent quarterly dividend, so a trailing 12 month yield of 11.5%. Solid balance sheet. What do you think of it at this price, and is there an earnings forecast for 2024?

Q: Can you kindly recommend any sites tracking RSI for individual stocks and whether you feel this is a good input into the decision making process of when deciding to buy an oversold stock?

Also, I notice there are timeframes for RSI (weekly, monthly etc) so how does the timeframe inform the result and help a decision to purchase an oversold stock?

Thanks as always for your guidance!
