Q: A question for the 5i team on a small cap oil/gas explorer/producer Arrox Exploration. I just started a small position based on my own research and would as always appreciate your input.

Q: If the world is going to need all this power to deal with all this Artificial Intelligence that is going to be happening in the coming years, what stocks in your opinion will benefit from this need for electrification? BTW I tend to like stocks that are on the more liquid side so please push your answer in that direction please and thanks

Q: I have these in a robo managed portfolio and am down 25% on ZFL and 5.4% on ZAG and 8.2% on XSH.
Since it appears interest rates appear to be stabilizing should one hold on for a recovery or try a different strategy or different holdings. Perhaps maybe moving to GIC or HISA EFT or other holdings you may suggest. Or do you think the same recovery may be seen by continuing to hold?
This loss seems to be an issue with those that have to go managed funds and mutuals with a balanced EFT portfolio.
I am going to transfer from so called managed to my own managed EFT's to avoid the fees. Think I can do just as well (or poorly depending on how you look at it) but wondering if I should switch holdings when moving funds to self directed EFT's.
I do have a separate portfolio with individual stocks, so this is basically a portfolio to minimize management and time requirements.

Q: Why does this company continue to struggle to maintain momentum? Today the Fed said no rate increases and potentially none for next year with the potential to reduce rates. Most stocks did well after this announcement, yet Trisura goes the opposite direction. How much more patience should we investors give Trisura?
Q: I have a question about 1278

Q: I wish to make my holdings in the energy sector more resilient to market turmoil and retain those holdings that have strong economic fundamentals plus pay a reasonable dividend. Can you recommend any that represent a good entry at this time.
Q: Hello Peter,
Is there a way to participate in SpaceX for retail investors? Also, with Elon Musk being involved in many companies (space x, twitter, tsla), how will this affect performance of tesla in the long run? I have small weighting in well health, is it good time to buy some more.. much appreciated

Q: I would like your opinion as to what has been driving the price of Energy stocks down ( like CJ who has good fundamentals ) other than the price of oil and gas.
Also why is the price of oil and gas low, when demand seems relatively strong.

Q: Thoughts on these two results and forward outlook?
DOL - had a solid beat and raised guidance, guidance and growth look strong still. Stock down currently on the results.
TVK - sales beat, profit down, div up 20%. For growth and acquisition companies like this, do you like to see a 20% div increase vs other "better" capital allocation ideas such as buying back shares, re-investing capital into more organic growth, etc.. Thoughts? Looking to add more to a smallish position.
Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i Team - Argonaut Gold has announced that it has just completed a Follow-on-Equity Offering of CAD $80 million. Is this a positive for the company or is the further dilution a reason to sell and move on to something else. There are already over a billion shares, and I am assuming this is before the recent offering. Do you think the market has already priced in this further dilution. Also what does 'Follow-on-Equity' mean.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Q: I'm down a fair amount in registered plans after holding each of the 13 listed stocks for some time. Please rate in terms those that are worth keeping as the prospects are good vs those where it's probably time to cut losses and move on. Timeframe of 5 years before starting to draw down from portfolio.

c) rank those that are could be sold.
Thank you

Q: Hello 5i,
The turnaround that began in early November on many preferred stocks already seems to be reversing on some of them and heading back towards their lows. Is there a logical reason for this? (My question concerns perpetual preferreds, here are some examples - MFC.PR.C or FTS.PR.F)
Any information is welcome.
Thank you

Q: what are 3 key current metrics that you use to evaluate SMCI? and how do they compare for the over the last 5 years thanks Richard
Q: In my investing account, Telus is rated a sell based on 4 analyst sells, 6 holds, and 1 buy. I just read your comparison with BCE, and it seems to me that while you prefer BCE, you hardly regard Telus as a sell. I hold both and was planning to continue. Would you see any objection? (I'm retired)
Q: Down quite a bit Wednesday noon. I see no news. Do you see anything to explain?
Q: Could you please explain why it isn’t in one’s best interest to withdraw more than the mandatory RRSP annual withdrawal??
