Q: Could you please recommend a few stocks for two RESP accounts? First account for 4 years old grandchild. Second account for three grandchildren (4, 5, and 8 years old). Planning to contribute $2000 ($500 for each grandchild). The first account has already 26 ENB shares. The second account is a new account. Thanks in advance for your very valuable advice.

Q: I have held BCE for a while now, and have always enjoyed the dividend yield it provides. TIXT seems to be poised for greater growth, but BCE is a steady provider of dividend yield with modest price appreciation. I have been looking at TIXT, and I am wondering if I should make a switch, or stick with BCE. I don’t think I would want to make a larger commitment to telcos, as I would rather keep my capital free for investment in other sectors, so I would feel comfortable with an either/or situation, rather than equal amounts of both. I will appreciate any insight you have to offer. Thanks so much, and I look forward to your response.

Q: I had planned to buy TIXT as my next Tech purchase but it has been trending down (down 2% today as I write this) and I do not buy on bad momentum. However, it is getting near ist price the week of its issue and 5I are positive on it long term. I realize you cannot pick bottoms but is there a price wher you feel it "should not go lower"

Q: HI 5i,
My daughter (still in school for another 3 years) has L, REAL, AQN, BAM-A, SLF, TIXT, BYD on a tfsa account and has some cash to add to one of this positions.
Also has ATD-B and MG in a cash account and wants to add another position.
Please suggest adding to current TFSA choices and a new idea for cash account. 3 year horizon.

I hold the above companies in my TFSA and would like to make the portfolio more concentrated for better upside potential. If you were forced to cut three positions and add the proceeds to any of the existing holdings, which one’s would you choose? Long term growth is the only objective.

Q: Hello,
I have cash in my RRSP to buy an initial position in one of these companies. Growth focus, with a chance to double the share price in a 5-year timeline approx. Morningstar rates both as "undervalued".
On TOI, on April 1st you mentioned two funds have recently bought-in (Fidelity and Akre). TOI has now run up 20% in the last 3 weeks, ahead of the May 5 call and their first reporting as a public co. It feels like the smart money knows there is good performance coming on TOI, near-term and further out, with its parent company providing support. If you were picking just one of these...

Q: For a stock price to double in 5 years requires an average gain of about 15% compounded, annually. Would you please rank these 12 stocks in order for the likelihood, in your opinion, they will double in price in the next 5 years. Roughly how many of these 12 would you expect to achieve that target? Assuming no major long term market melt down which would preclude good stock performance over this period. Q: Good day! I will be receiving a large income tax refund in the coming days and will be adding in to my wife's TFSA which already includes positions in ATZ, NVEI, KL, GSY and TRUL. Time horizon of 20+ years affords a healthy appetite for risk. Her others accounts are well-balanced and moderate risk. I'm looking to add 2-3 positions in the above stocks.
