Q: Happy New Year. Your opinion on a $50K RRSP account for a 10yr+ window with the above mentioned equal weighted shares (with this time frame, I suppose emphasis on capital appreciation would be preferable):. If you prefer others, which ones and why. Thanks. Jacques

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: Would like your opinion on FXC, they seem to have made a few initial good investments.
Q: I have been retired for a long time. Is it reasonable to add Aecon (with its larger yield) for income to my portfolio, or is the larger WSP a better choice even though the yield is lower?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I am looking for a world market etf X USA that trades in Canadian dollars that you would recommend for my TFSA
Q: I'm just curious.. Do you think it is likely or unlikely that WELL will start trading on the American stock market in addition to the Canadian one day? (Like LSPD did recently.)
Thank you & Happy New Year

Q: Happy new year to 5i team!
I own the companies listed above within TFSA in equal positions of 8-10% except KXS where I am at 3% position.
I will add 6K to TFSA in 2021
Option 1: Buy more KXS with new money
Option 2: Buy XBC with new money
Option 3: Sell REAL and buy both KXS and XBC
In your opinions which of above option has better growth potential

Thanks

Q: Hi Guys
I always thought the book value of BPY.UN (currently showing $29 CDN) would establish the floor of an monetary offer if BAM ever decided to buy out BPY.UN, currently trading at $21.60 CDN. If the real estate holding were sold off piece meal and the company wrapped up do you think that the value that was realized would approach book value now - about $29 a share. And if so, how could the Directors of BPY.UN be acting in the interests of the shareholders in accepting the offer from BAM rather than realizing full value for shareholders? I am just wondering how an associated company like BAM buys a company below book value?
By the way I also hold a full position in BAM so I guess I will benefit either way this comes out but the offer looks below board.
Much thanks
Stuart

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
GORO is a gold company which is spinning off one of it's mines which will become Fortitude Gold I believe. I believe the transaction occurred on Dec. 31st. I have 10,000 shares of GORO. Please tell me what will happen to my shares. Will they now be divided up between two companies...if so at what rate...as of today nothing has changed on my TD Webbroker account and Fortitude Gold is not listed on the exchange. Thank you for helping me to understand...it is always a worry when you don't know what is going on! Much appreciated!

Q: In your view, which will be more profitable (growth +dividend) in 2021: BEP or GSY? Seriously overweight now in BEP and wanting to redirect the surplus to GSY, but BEP just keeps going up. (Not a bad problem to have.) Advice regarding timing of such a switch would also be appreciated. Thank you.

Q: We have a number of bpo preferred stocks. The current events of bpy buy out is positive. Would the bpo preferred come to par in rating with the Bam preferred if the deal is approved? Or is any provisions for a payout of the preferred debt in case of takeover?
Thank you and Happy new year.

Q: Hi gang,
I currently own WELL, however I'm looking at at three others in the space, Vitalhub, cloudMD and Think Research.
Please give me an over view of the differentiation between these four.
Also your view, rank, on which of the four will be the best in 5 yrs.
Thx

Q: With DND having gone up quite a lot in the last month and its lockup period coming to an end (IPO Jul 17 at $7.5, 180 days would be around Jan 11), do you expect a pullback soon? I bought at $27. What do you think about selling now at $50ish and hoping for a pullback to mid/ low $40s to buy back? It is only < 2% of my portfolio and this move would be just for fun, so not too important if it doesn't drop and I go find something else to buy. I also don't mind holding it for a year or two. I am just starting to learn to trade and would love your opinion on how you think this stock would behave in the near future.

Q: Of the above stocks which would you feel is the best to add to our TFSA and why? Could you also rank them in order best first, in case I decide to add 2.
Second related question: LSPD, CTS, and DCBO are in a non registered account They could be moved over to the TFSA but am reluctant to do so because l have a capital gain on them, 200%, 60%, and 60%. LSPD would be a partial move due to its greater value.
Thanks for all your guidance and suggestions in the Q and A. The 3 above profits are a result of 5i.
Happy New Year to all.
