Q: I hold many names from your Balanced Portfolio. I am in the process of deploying cash with the intent of building a more balanced portfolio with a long term view. What 10 Canadian names would you buy today and what 2 US names would you buy?

Q: WELL was $3.50 in August 2020 and its $3.55 today.

Reminds me a lot of GUD. IMHO 5i tends to be overly patient on some failed investments whereby selling them and moving on could make for a much better return.

So I have been as patient as I want to be with WELL. When I sell my shares of WELL, which I intend to do, what would be a good replacement that is well managed and has good potential growth in its future outlook?

And of course, has a proven management team.

Q: In any otherwise well diversified RIF portfolio I am considering exiting T and BEP.

I am looking to replace them with a couple of holdings that you feel have far greater upside in the next 3-5 years (realizing that the volatility may increase to some extent but in line with the potential for greater returns).

I have referred to several of your current favourites (which we do not currently hold) as potentials and am open to other suggestions you might have along the same lines.

If you could comment on the elimination of T and BEP and also if you believe any of the listed ones (or others ) would provide a substantially better risk/rewad profile over the next 3-5 years it would be appreciated.

Q: Please recommend a few health care investments.

Q: I've held JNJ for over 15 years based on my belief in the quality of their management. I'm feeling my trust may now be overly 'generous' and it may be time to move on, particularly now that the steadiness of consumer products is gone. I'm considering VRTX or another suggestion you could offer. I have full positions in TMO, SYK and UNH, highlighting my preference for quality.

Q: I need to trim SMCI, NVDA and VRT. I have partial positions in AMZN, MSFT, AMD, LLY,GOOG, AXON, NXT, CELH, PLTR and NTNX. Could you please order the partial positions from high to low, for a potential add? What are your recommendations for 4 or 5 other growth stocks, any size/sector that I could investigate for a new position? Would any of the these growth stocks fit into the ranking of the partial positions? If so, could you place them into the ranking? I have a really nice gain shorter term gain on LLY thanks to your recommendation of 125% which is down a little from the high.
Is LLY on the over valued side now and starting to correct? Should I sell it and move into another Healthcare name and if so I'd love a few recommendations. I already own a partial position in UNH and ABBV. I see UNH has dropped and may have some issues with the government should they be stayed away from for now? Thanks for your service.

Q: ISRG and AXON. Love the narrative and the respective charts for both these stocks. I just can't get past the valuation. For instance, in a recent article on SA by a highly
respected author, he opened my eyes on P/S ratios. Here's a quote:

"While 41 companies in the S&P 500 are trading above 10x price-to-sales, 131 companies (26% of the S&P) trade above 5x sales and must grow sales by more than 100% yearly to maintain that valuation. The problem is that some companies, like Apple (AAPL), have declining revenue growth rates."

Both ISRG and AXON are in this high P/S category he's referring to. In fact not only are they both above 5, they are above 10. Were they priced at more reasonable P/S levels during the last recession? Is that the only time you can grab these two wide-moat companies at a more compelling ratio?
