Q: Seems the whole Healthcare sector stocks are depressed right now. Aside from ISRG (owned) which five are the most compelling to own and at what entry price are they wotth it? Canadian would be best, or ADRs. But I'll take US or world suggestions also.
Thank you!

Q: Hi 5i team
Let me start by thanking you all for you valuable insights into markets and stock valuations through the years. My question is regarding a tfsa portfolio. I am considering reducing amount of stocks to 20. Which 6 stocks would you let go in order of first to sell to last. Secondly, could you give me a brief opinion/ comment on my present holdings in a tfsa and if there's value in keeping status quo.
Thanks as always
Gilles

Thank you. David

Q: Do any of these companies fwd P/E's or P/S's concern you at all vs their expected growth rates?

They range from 50x to 127x. I'm looking to increase positions in NBIS/SRAD/GENI so I'm thinking of trimming some of these higher valuation names to add to these lower position names. However, I don't want to trim these long term compounders if they still have legs, but at such high valuations, when does it make sense to trim a name like CRWD to add to NBIS currently? I understand that great companies generally have higher valuations for a reason and investors have to pay up for great long term compounders. Thank you!

Q: BN is sitting at 7.5%, AXON - BKNG are 5% and the rest are 3% positions totaling approx. 83% of my stock assets. I have some 1-2% positions in my cash account (GSY, ATZ, PRL, CLBT, HPS.a, BNS,SU, TMDX, TVK and CNQ. I'm heavy tech, financials and industrials going into H2 2025. Would you add to, remove or change anything is this was your account (assuming you're 52 and plan to retire in 8 years). Not looking for a person allocation but rather if it was you, what might you be looking to adjust, if anything. Note I have no utilities currently. Thanks and have a great weekend.

Q: Role play. You're you giving yourself advice:

Assuming the market is going to puke all over itself today, what are you buying and how long are you waiting to pull the trigger on it?

Everything is long term hold.

Thanks

Q: I have a couple holdings that are giving me question for keeping.

I have a cost base of 20 on Sentinel and altho there was some positive stock movement a few months back the stock is currently showing little sign of moving higher. I know they are in Cyber Security. Is it worth holding and where would you suggest the funds could be better deployed if its a Sell?

In the case of SNN my cost is 24 but based on the longer term chart i'm not certain there is alot of confidence in the management when comparing to better performing Medical Device companies like Stryker. Would this be a Sell and redeployment of Cash into Intuitive Surgical?

Q: I have a 4.7% position in Intuitive. 10 years from retirement with a long term horizon and can handle volatility. What’s your thought on brining this up to a 5.5% position based on today’s volatility? I’m torn as I added it as a 3% position that has done exceptionally well. What would you do if it were you? Thanks.. as always, I appreciate your logical approach to investment decisions and the vast insights provided over the last 7 years.

Q: I enjoy all the questions that pass through. I’m not into day trading but certainly add a couple swing trades in as a boost as well as selling calls.

With the question you answered about Canadian companies for day trading would you please provide a few US names that would fit your criteria.

Thank you.

Q: I am preparing to invest cash again.

Where we sit...a low point..in the economy and sentiment....could you suggest 3 Cdn dividend stocks ( and 3-5 US growth stocks and 5 ETFs (balanced and global) that represent a good buying opportunity in these poor markets...that have the potential to show very good returns over the next 5 years out.am preparing to deploy cash into the market.

I would say I am a investor that can tolerate 80 in the medium risk category and up to 20 % in higher risk holdings.

Timing is not a good thing to factor in, but things appears a like a recession is coming if not already here...would you sugest averaging in? and over what period of time.
Thank you

p.s. Currently all I own is RBC, Sun Life and PIMCO Monthly Income.
