Q: As we close in on the US election what would be your short term (up to 1 year) picks be in the US market? For a republican victory energy sector might be interesting or possibly crypto. If crypto how would you play it?
On the other hand if Democrats win what would you choose?
As a long term member, can't thank you enough for what you do.

Q: Hello 5i

I have held ULTA and SMCI (full positions) for about a year and am reconsidering them due to changes in forecast etc.
Could you suggest 5 alternate names in the US that project growth in the next 2-3 years?
They do not need to be sector specific just strong growth and good fundamentals.

Q: I hold NVDA (7.5%), VRT (7%), MSFT (5.5%), AMZN (7%), and GOOG (5%)- all up significantly in registered accounts. Question #1: what is the maximum weight you would be comfortable holding of each of these five stocks? Question #2: I also hold LMN (2.5%), which is barely above water. Deeply disappointed in its recent performance and considering replacing it with either ISRG or AVGO. That said, I'm concerned that adding AVGO puts too many eggs in the AI basket, given my other holdings. If this were your portfolio, would you opt to replace LMN with either ISRG or AVGO? Please explain why.

Q: Hello 5i,

Thank you for answering my question yesterday. We are looking at replacing CELH (-50%), CTRA (-3%), and NXT (-23%) in a TFSA or RRSP. From our question yesterday we would replace these stocks with CECO, ASPN, & AVAV (TMDX was purchased yesterday. Is your conviction higher on CELH over CECO, ASPN, & AVAV, or ISRG?

Q: We are planning to set up a separate investment account for our grandkids. Assume a 10 year hold. There are a few sectors we would want to overweight - 3 stocks, CAD or US, in Financials, Industrials, Technology and 1-2 stocks in the others. Q: Would you endorse a switch from DHR to ISRG (taxes not an issue)? I know you really like ISRG. I suspect I would be taking on more volatility and DHR has been a decent grower but would ISRG likely be that much stronger growth wise?
