Q: Hi Team,
These Tariff moves have gone from "not a big concern" to a major concern with anyone holding a growth portfolio. Currently I am down 23% from peak in short order since January, due to a higher concentration in Tech names and other growth names. An amazing fall considering I thought I was holding all solid names (such as NVDA. PRL, SHOP, TTD as examples) Do you view this as 2022 all over again? Or do you think the market will bottom sooner than it did in that year? Hard to say I know based on Trump saying that he no longer cares much about the market this go around. A much different tune that last term. However I suppose that could change overnight. I don't imagine Musk in enjoying Tsla's fall; perhaps that will end up in a clash with Trump on trade policies or hopefully talk some sense into him at the very least. Looking for your take on the current situation. Lastly, I assume that since major damage is already done would I be best to just hold the line at this point? Or sell out some growth names even at current levels? If buying new purchases what would be your top 3 names to add to at current levels?

Q: I am getting ready to DCA into these stocks in an unregistered account with higher than average risk profile. According to me, these stocks had a bit of a pullback with possibly more on the way.

Q: In January you suggested a portfolio for 2025 could look like the one noted below. I’m 90% invested. position size is a high of 5% (full position) and 2.5% (half position) depending on my perception of size/risk. Based on the current climate, I lowered Nvidia is down to 3.5% - anything you would modify today? 5i - a mix of quality Cdn. and US stocks, with a lean to growth: GOOG, NVDA, VRT, CLBT, AXON, JPM, RTX, CRM, NBIS, ISRG, BKNG. Q: I am heavily tech weighted and am considering selling my entire position in NVDA and some CRWD as I have large gains in both. I would use the proceeds to buy positions in FLUT and SYK. I would still have position in AMZN, ASML, CRWD, GOOG, META, MSFT and VRT.

I'm expecting some turbulence coming for sure. I doubt all is priced in with the tariff battle. Of course nobody knows. But opportunity may be knocking.

I refreshed myself on Peter's cover call write up from years past. I'd love a new take on selling covered calls to enhance your income and some strategies relating to it. ie, OTM, time frame etc.

And some top stocks in your view for writing on. Excluding NVDA, already sell OTC cc on my position.
