Q: Hello team ,
I was looking for your thoughts on some of my recent worst performers and what I should do with them . Baba (held in a US cash account ) is down 45% after the Chinese government crackdown . Med (down 21% in US cash account ) after only owning it for a short time . And Mgni is selling off daily for some reason now , even after the strong quarterly results .(still up 20% in rsp) . For each of these how do you recommend them …buy more , hold , sell? If any are sells what would be your recommendation on a replacement ; preferably one with high potential in getting my money back.

Q: When looking at growth vs value or tech vs more cyclical stocks, we have seen stocks like GH go from $181 to 99, Coupa from $377 to 208 or Acuity Ads go from $26 to $8 while the DOW hits all time highs. My question is what do you expect would happen to this type of small, growth company when a correction comes? Have they been punished enough that they are buffered or even so an inflow of capital in a rotation or would they likely be punished even more severely due to (still) high valuations? As a part 2 to this question, what would be your five favourite growth stocks that have been beaten up and would you start positions in them today or wait for further declines?

Q: I would like to double my Health sector % as recommended by Portfolio Analytics. I could also increase US portion of my portfolio but either Can or US is fine.
Current holdings and percentage of total portfolio are:
GUD (.75%), WELL (2.85%), ABBV (.81%)
Could increase existing holdings but have also been looking at US stocks CI and MED.
Your thoughts on approach and recommendations, including additions/deletions/other equities I have not mentioned would be appreciated. Dividend is not essential.

Q: Hi,

I’m looking to either add to or start a new position in my TFSA, 3-5 year timeline (or longer), with a high risk tolerance. Can you suggest a few companies (no preference Can/US). I currently already have small positions of both Topicus and Eglx inside my TFSA, so I’m also considering just adding the new funds to either of these. Thanks for the great service you provide!

Q: Hello! I am tech heavy and don’t mind the extra volatility for a growth centric portfolio. Q: Modest amount of funds in trust for teenagers. Plan to sell Alteryx at small loss. What would you suggest for USD purchase please? I was looking @ VTRS. Q: I am considering selling U (down 24% in my TFSA) and replacing it with one of the following: WELL, NVEI, DOCU, MED, or APPS. Please rank in order of preference if purchased today. Can I assume all of the above stocks would likely have higher rates of growth than U and that the sale of U would thus be justified?
