Q: Hello 5i, I have read in the June edition of Canadian Money Saver that Thomson Reuters plans special distribution of US $4.67 per share. Do you know more about this, and the approximate date? Thank you

Q: Previous question, you claimed a 15.9X forward earnings multiple. We need $1.49 earnings to get there Y2024. From TD, I have mean estimates of $1.18 (7 brookers, from $0.98 to $1.42). The question is: what is the provenance of your source? Bloomberg? Which one should I rely on and why please.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Purchased this stock earlier this year in a registered account. Down about 20% in a few months . Timing was not good. Should keep the stock for long term or move on. Prepared to hold. Thoughts ?
Q: Xhc charges a .66 mer. It’s only holding is the us global healthcare etf ixj which charges a .4% mer. Is Xhc’s mer in addition to ixj’s or does it include the underlying mer.
Q: Maybe the Globe's listings are simply inaccurate. But it shows HTA as doing much less poorly than HTAE, which basically only invested in HTA and has a higher monthly dividend. The G&M shows HTA is up 33% ytd but HTAE is up almost 44%. I get that HTAE can have various strategies, including leverage - though it's odd that it seems as stable than HTA. What do you think of this ETF and its risk factors? Esp as compares with HTA.
Q: Hi, Northview Fund (NHF.UN) is doing a recapitalization transaction where the portfolio is being acquired and becoming a $2.7 billion tradional multi family REIT. The deemed transaction price is $15.06 and the stock has been drifting lower, I get that this can be sector specific, but this is not a well followed company, I am wondering if am I missing something on this transaction and why would this be drifting to the $7's. There is a share consolidation coming but I believe it is post transaction.
Q: Bob the builder is back/staying and now seems to be wanting to turn into Bob the seller. Do you like the strategy and think the sum of the parts is worth significantly more? How does Disney look on a forward P/E and PEG basis? At what price do you think this is an excellent opportunity for a long-term hold? Thanks

Q: Hi Folks,
I currently hold CSU and MSFT in my otherwise conservative RRSP. I am looking at adding either AAPL or GOOG for a little more growth. Can you suggest which one would be better to add today.
Thanks

Q: I am a little bit puzzled. On a previous question, you stated PEG of .6 for ATS. From TD, I see earnings estmated for '24 being $2.66 (growth of 12%). To get your PEG, we need $3.39 for earnings estimated next year (growth of 43%). Could you explain the discrepancy please.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Can you please tell me if ZWK is ok to hold in your TFSA, since it is US Companies? Thank you

Q: My long-term interest in VZ was partially founded on it's extremely low correlation with almost every other equity and fixed income category. I am "off" VZ due its recent issues and am curious as to whether you are aware of any similarly low correlation, reliably high income alternatives?
Q: Recently I see articles about “alternative” investments as a means of diversifying the portfolio. They are often written by fund managers suggesting their product.
1. What are considered alternative investments?
2. How does the individual investor access them directly?
3. Does adding them to a portfolio mix make a more diversified portfolio ie: add stability?
Thanks as usual.

Boardwalk Real Estate Investment Trust (BEI.UN)

European Residential Real Estate Investment Trust (ERE.UN)
Q: I currently own both these 2 REITS. BEI appears to reach higher highs, and ERE seems to be reaching new lows. What are your thoughts on both REITS? Do you believe there is there more room to run for BEI, and would you buy ERE at these levels?

Trane Technologies plc (TT)
Q: With regards to the shift in consumer thinking related to moving away from using fossil fuels for home heating/cooling, are there any companies that would stand to benefit from the shift towards heat pumps?
Trane and Honeywell come to mind but are they actually good companies for investors? The 3 to 5 year charts show them as being somewhat rangebound.
Are there perhaps other companies? Or companies that supply the parts for the heat pumps?
Thanks!

Q: I am down on QTIP but liking the ~ 7% yield. What is it going to take to move the needle on this one (I own it for income but hate seeing the price down with no line of sight to recovery). What will make this bounce back to the $100-$105 range ??

Avantis U.S. Small Cap Value ETF (AVUV)
Q: Hello, I am thinking about selling my position in QQQ in favour of small cap etfs spread amongst value and growth. My feeling is that over the coming years they will have a better growth factor than the current large cap companies listed in QQQ. How do you feel about the ETFs described above, or perhaps some alternatives you favour ?
