Q: What are your thoughts about BLNK ? Seems to be some positive momentum in share price and strategic partnership announcements. Revenues however seem very low.
Q: I have held GUD for years, with very little growth. I am thinking of selling and buying WELL. Which of these stocks do you believe will have better growth and which do you consider less of a risk. Thank you
Q: I bought Calian, then it doubled and I sold it, then it doubled again. How do I avoid making this mistake another time with another stock? I thought the valuation was stretched at $30.
Q: Questions about gold exposure in resgistred accounts. Let’s i am
A) 65 yo, not needing money in 5 years
B) 35 yo long term investor with a good risk tolerance
For those two situation, could you tell me for each , how would you invest 5% portfolio allocation in gold ? ( from a junior mine, to a mature gold producer, to an etf, physical gold etc., pick is yours)
Q: What do you think of Twitter? The platform, for better or worse, has become one of the main ways in which people get their news. Trump can't seem to leave the app despite publicly criticizing it and its founder. Despite this, the stock hasn't exploded in price like other social media platforms e.g. Facebook. I assume this is because a lack of profitability. What do you think of the long term prospects? Good buy for exposure into social media and technology? Bad idea if you already have a lot in Facebook?
Q: I am looking for some guidelines on when one should trim a position exceeding 5% of your holdings. I have a 7.3% a 6.3%, a 5.6%, a 7.0%, a 7.5%, and a 6.2%. 4 of these I have already trimmed some time ago. Is trimming more of a gut reaction or do you have something more concrete to guide you? Combined with this problem, when you do decide to trim, what (and why) % do you trim down to?
I have this problem, mainly, by following your excellent advice.
Your thoughts will be much appreciated. ram
Q: Housing Boom, in USA as people want to leave City Centres due to violence and riots. I notice four lumber companies WFT, CFP, IFP ,ADN all hit new highs on August 14th WFT had a high of $ 90.00 in the past years and the other companies mentioned are far from their past highs . Lumber is at $ 729.00 up from $ 400.00 there must be still a lot of upside in these shares.
Q: I wanted to see if 5i will be putting out a report on this company in the near future? I purchased this a few weeks ago in the low teens and it seems to keep climbing. I like the space they are in can you comment on when does their 1st public quarter report and would you add to a position at todays prices or wait.?
Thanks as always
Q: July 10 2019 you gave the following opinion on EDG100
"We are generally not huge fans of mutual funds for their higher fees, but EDG100 is an exception that has consistently justified the higher fees through its performance. We would be fine keeping it."
1) Just wondering what your thoughts are on this mutual fund today and are the high fee still justified by it performance?
2) What alternative that operate in the same space would you suggest looking into?
Q: Tech has boosted my returns this year and now it is around 40% of my portfolio and that is after trimming half my SHOP and CSU and selling AYX, GIB.A and DSG. Trying to get down to 20% Can you please rank the above stocks to help me with my decision. And thanks for the great service.
Q: Thanks for your prompt reply to my question about earnings. I only wish that their revenue was $419.6M because the SP would have been up tenfold today. But you better remove the 4 and bring them back to $19.6M. Keep up the great work.
Q: Please share your assessment of Q2 2020 results and any highlights from conference call.
