Q: I have been out of the loop on financial news for the past six months or so, and so am a bit unfocused on current news.

What are your thoughts on adding NVDA at this time (to appropriate weighting, etc.)? [I reviewed some Q&A on it, but am not clear as to why the latest downdraft on this company is occurring. Perhaps I didn't go back far enough.] If this is not a solid pick at this time, would you please suggest your favourite in the sector, for a 5% position? Canadian or US -- I have no preference, other than it be Tech. Thanks!

Q: Hi there,

I inherited all 5 of these positions in my US portfolio and looking to reduce to 3. i am leaning to NVDA, AVGO and QCOM but I know very little about MCHP. I am also concerned about letting go of TXN given their role in converting analog to digital signals. YOur thoughts. I am looking for a balance of growth and a stable dividend.
Cheers

Q: I initiated a position in both of these companies (<2%) at the beginning of January and am down 7% on NVDA and up 15% in SQ. Both have been under considerable down pressure recently. Would you continue to hold or liquidate at until the dust settles.
Thanks Kindly.

Q: Hi 5i! I'm a middle-aged subscriber that has picked up some of the 5i researched companies - most recently Kinaxis and BNS. I'm slightly overweight Kinaxis and Shopify since I see them as potential growth engines. KXS, TOY, NVDA, SHOP, FB, and BNS are all in my non-reg account. If I need cash this year for personal projects, which companies might you recommend I start selling? Thanks!

Q: All the above is what I have in portfolio with equal weightings. I purchased all stocks 1 year ago. I am down on all except for SHOP and BYD. TOY is Down the most. Do you recommend to sell any of these stocks? What new stock would you recommend to add to a tfsa for growth?
Please deduct credit as you feel appropriate.
Thank you.

Q: Considering bitcoins' drop in value, does anyone have an idea of what percentage of nvdia's business is tied to Bitcoin mining? What other customer streams does Nvidia have and what percentages might they be? What has been nvidia's primary growth catalyst the last 3 years? Does nvidia's prospects continue to be bright going forward?

Q: The tech meltdown has been spectacular. Companies that "own their world" are being trashed. Amazon, Alphabet, Facebook, Nvidia, Square, Salesforce, Microsoft and Box are my favorites. Would you enter this sector now or just move on? Please comment/rank on my tech watchlist. Thank you.

Q: I have some US funds I'd like to put to work in one or two of the mentioned names taking them from a half weight to a full 5% position. Regardless of sector weightings, which 2 do you like the most at current market valuations for capital appreciation over the next 5 to 8 years in a growth oriented portfolio? Thanks!
