Q: Volatility - a traders best friend. I use a small portion of my portfolio for swing trades and am looking for a few ideas for 2022. Can you provide 3 of your best ideas for Swing trades.

Normally I don't trade but want to try out the Tax loss strategy . Planning to Invest about $25k in 4 to 5 US or Canadian stocks which are oversold due to tax loss claims. Planning to buy this week and sell them in Q1 2022. What are your strongest convictions/ recommendation on this strategy at the current level. Can you please provide a few names that you have the most conviction in(Not necessarily the most upside)? Please rank them, provide a suggested price and the reason for your strong conviction.

I am leaning towards going all in with my borrowed chips for swing trades. This would be separate from my long term holdings. I would appreciate your opinion please.

Towards that objective, I have short listed the following:
AMAT, TER, ATVI, GNRC, COF, MS, BAC, LSPD, AFRM.

I think diversification does not matter for swing trades and, understanding that this is a crap shoot could you please suggest approx. 5-6 stocks, either from this list or others that you would suggest.

Q: Hi Team,
With index's near record highs it is very frustrating to have my portfolio down 20% over the last quarter, and still dropping (holding mostly growthy tech). I have read recently that even though the index's are hitting records, nearly half the underlying stocks in the index's are down 20% or more from highs. My question is now..do I keep holding or make the switch to the interest rate increase "friendly" stocks. My initial thoughts are that since my holdings are already down 20-50% on some of these names and the stories in the companies have not changed (other than the short reports on LSPD and NVEI), is it better to simply hold at this point and wait for better days, or should I be selling into the weakness and re adjusting my portfolio? Or...should I buck the trend and add to these dips. Seems like many long term opportunites come from adding to beat down names in times such as this. I am overweight tech, mostly 5i tech favourites.

Also, taking everything into consideration; what are some of your top ideas for 2022 TFSA contributions as of today that you would be looking at, either US or Cnd. My timeframe is 10yrs plus until retirement. Thanks

Wondering if I can get your opinion on what one might do with Docusign? Having held it through the boom and now the bust, I'm not so sure that it will generate enough investor interest to return to its former peak within a reasonable timeframe (unless there is an extended Covid Lockdown 2.0).

What likelihood exists that it may be bought out at a decent premium, perhaps by Adobe? If your team is now somewhat lukewarm on this stock, can you please suggest 2-3 replacements that currently show higher growth potential.

Roku has taken a real downturn to-day. I know one brokerage has downgraded it, but is there anymore bad news to have this lose 10%. Its been going down since August, almost at its 52 week low. It this justified???
