Q: Hello 5i,
I am looking for income and found these two. I am up with BAC and PRMW and would sell these and buy ICHR and IEP. I know there is no comparison but would be fine with the change for income. I am 76 with a good pension and a balanced portfolio value investor in all sectors. I also have covered call ETF's ZWC, ZWE, ZWH, ZWT, HDIV AND HYLD. The other forty-two stocks are blue chip equities in all 11 sectors with ten ETF's doing well with ZAG to balance it all. I am not using the principal and reinvesting excess dividends and using some for travel. Is there a downside to selling BAC and PRMW and buying ICHR and IEP or is that too excessive with the covered call ETF's now in play? Please take as many credits as needed.

Q: Hi 5i,

Amongst other pricey cybersecurity companies, CHKP seems very reasonably valued. It it 'cheap for a reason', or is it a solid stock to pick up now?

Also, do you still like RPD after its recent report?

Is there anything else (besides CRWD) that you prefer in this space?

TIA!

Q: Terrible markets with NQ in bear space. NVTA,PATH, PLTR,BL are at/near new lows. Reportedly PLTR reports before open,May 9. All in Investment a/c.,except BL in Tfsa. Thinking of selling at a loss before they get worse, which maybe offset by potential capital gain of other stocks at a later date. Appreciate u short view on each. Txs for u usual great views & services.

Q: Hi 5i,

I was looking forward to the US part of the answer to Aleem’s recent question.

Specifically, can I get your two top US picks for each of consumer cyclical, consumer defensive and industrials based on current valuation and long-term growth.

Thanks as always,

Kevin

Q: For the companies listed, do you believe any are at risk of fully going out of business with respect to the current market and recent/anticipated stock pricing effecting their ability to continue to operate? thanks!

Q: In one of your responses you stated "But, there are good signs, such as 20% of biotech companies in the US now trading below cash levels". If this is net cash (i.e. after debt), wouldn't these be great buying opportunities, assuming the companies are solid. They would eventually trade at their cash position (at minimum, I would have to believe). If my thesis is correct, can you name a few of these companies. I think this may be pretty much a sure thing?

Q: Are these stocks still expensive? In what order would you buy them today?

Thank you for great service.

Q: These two companies are incredibly innovative and have developed the vaccines that save us all. They are very profitable with Moderna selling at a PE of 5 and BioNtech at a PE of 3.2. Yet they continue to go down. They also have quite a few medicines in their pipelines. I have 65 shares of MRNA in my TFSA. Your thoughts?
