Hum down 15% today after earnings and a poor guidance.....also CVS down ...What is your opinion on HUM and what does the future look like for these companies....short term/long term.
Is this industry in trouble?
Where do you see things go from here and a what price does this company become attractive investment.

Q: What is your opinion on this US healthcare stock regarding valuation, prospects, and risk. It seems cheap but do you consider its concentration on drugs a potential pitfall if the US decides to reduce allowable charges for prescriptions. Would you buy CI or are UNH Elevance or Humana better equities to hold? Appreciate your views.

Q: I have been watching UNH since the Bush years when it was going through rapid mergers and Buffett was buying it up. It wasn’t going up during the Obama presidency at least early on as investors were looking at the impact of public insurance.
Could you please comment on its significant success since and the business model of American health insurers now and in the future?

In your answer to Peter, you listed the above companies for a healthcare watch list. Sorry to corner you by asking about your favorite and why?

CVS is cheap and has long-term promise, but I bet your choice will be between ANTM and HUM based on management. Will you endorse both for purchase in the near future? Why or why not?

Or will you prefer something completely outside this list?

Earlier last year, in the health maintenance sector, you had mixed views on Molina Healthcare (MOH-N) , Aetna(aet-n), Humana(hum-n).
