Q: Hi Team,
Atz beat earnings and things appear to be going strong on all fronts for the business…yet the stock tanks some more today. Is this one of those disconnects where an investor should be buying more shares ?
Also …with the brutal tech selloff what are some of todays choices to buy for potential multi bagger over the next few years once the carnage stops? Thanks!

Q: 5% of my RSP is allocated to a risky/riskier /max growth theme with FB, J, KRBN and NVDA right now. I am looking for 1 or 2 more additions. APPS, U, and CRWD are on my list of considerations. In theory, I could wait 5-10+ yrs for max growth, but knowing my personality, 3-4 yrs is more in line with my expectations. Pls suggest some recommendations (does not have to be from my list) - Thank you.

Q: Dear Peter and Ryan.

I allocated almost same dollar amount in Meta (FB) (formerly known as Facebook), Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Alphabet (GOOG), NVDA and others. I invested a bit heavily in tech stocks and got hammered. I was disappointed in the business model of Meta lately. Today after trading hours, Meta released earnings and the price jumped. I think this may be a good opportunity to sell tomorrow and switch to some non-tech sectors. How do you think? What one or two names would you recommend to invest now to diversify away from high growth stocks?

Thank you,
Yiwen

Q: Do you feel the bigger tech companies will do well or at least weather the storm during the next 6 to 18 months, given rising inflation and potential recession. Other than Google and Microsoft, what would be your top 5 tech names to buy today?

Q: Hi
In response to David's question today, you said that mega-cap tech is a sector that should perform well in recessionary environments. can you give some examples of stocks or ETFs. Also, you recommended consumer staples. Would you be comfortable buying consumer staples at these high prices?
thanks for your help

Q: I hold this ETF in my riff along with canadian BCE and T Its performance and yield are not the best. I initially liked the mix rather than just adding something like verizon or ATT US telecom exposure. Is this worth holding in this enviroment? thanks for your opinion

Q: Have some cash in my US $ portfolio and am considering these 6 stocks.

1) Are there any that you would want to buy at this time ? If so, would you consider them primarily to be a shorter time hold to take advantage of near term bounce, or do you see them as having the potential for both short and long term strength ?
2) Of those you would want to buy – if any - could you rank the order in which you would buy and acceptable price range.
As always, thank you .

Q: Hi,
I'm looking for 5 or so US companies who will recover very quickly once we hit bottom. My plan is to do a little gambling and buy long term calls.

Q: At the current price of $187.67 FB, according to the company data section, is trading at 3.7 sales and analysts estimates show earnings $14.43 in 2023 for a forward PE of 13. Earnings growth is estimated to be 18.3% ($12.20 to $14.43). The analyst estimate stock target price $225 -450.
Question 1) Do you think the numbers in the company data are reasonable at this point?
Question 2) What would be the arguments against opening a position at this price if the hold was for 3-4 years

Thanks
Mike

Q: Hi Peter

I have question regarding the following list of “fallen angels”. These ten stocks have achieved significant drops in valuation since Dec. 31, 2020. Can you please rank these “fallen angels” in terms of the best risk-return profile over a five-to-ten-year hold? Everyone likes a bargain! Sometimes it is possible to survive a falling knife particularly if you use tungsten as a shield!

Q: Hi Folks,
I currently own the above in my TFSA and non registered accounts as part of the "tech" sector - I would like your opinion as to whether you would add to any of them OR would this be a good entry point to buy CSU for some Canadian exposure.
Thanks
