Q: Hello 5i Team
I am thinking of selling NFI and replace it by MRE.
Although expectations for NFI are much better I think the return for the forseable future is better for MRE.
What do you think
Q: Hello 5i Team,
A good friend of mine has all his investments in 2 funds.
RESP: CIBC Managed Aggressive Growth Portfolio
RRSP: BMO SelectTrust Equity Growth Portfolio - Series A
He has everything in those two funds. Are they worth holding? What do you suggest I advise him? I've talked to him about ETF's and doing something different than mutual funds.
Thank you for helping out. Brent
Q: Hi, Would you have an opinion on this etf VFMO Vanguard U.S. Momentum Factor ETF? Can this be used to add some extra torque to a diversified portfolio? I thank-you in
advance. Sam
Q: Can you please explain 1) what the legal battle with Fox over FanDual is all about 2) How material it is to Flutter's overall future growth and what the upside and downside is of losing/winning the fight with Fox would be 3) if this is the reason for Flutter's recent weak performance does it mean the market believes they will lose this battle? 4) are you still as excited about Flutter's future as you once were?
Q: Ric asked a question about selling a stock, for a loss, that he had only just purchased 15 days earlier. Jamie Golembek had a very interesting article in the FP this past weekend, where he states that it is not necessarily straightforward, particularly if you only sell part of the holding, and not 100% of it, when that that holding was only just purchased within the prior 30 days before its ultimate sale. Certainly worth the read, because the CRA has a formula that they apparently follow.

Q: This morning, CITI analyst Tyler Radki rated SHOP as neutral and lowered the target price a bit. Can you comment on his reasoning and provide your current rating on the stock? Much depends on what SHOP reports next week (I believe). What could be the best and worst case scenarios?
Q: Good morning,
I am down about 50% on XBC. While I like the space, I am thinking I will have to wait about a year to see if management can get the company back on track. Rather than sit back I have been thinking of selling XBC and putting the money into GRN. Do you think this would be a reasonable transaction?
Q: I have some US dollars that I would like to invest for a few months and I'm looking for a simple etf or stock that will give me more return than the zero interest I'm getting in my USD account. I don't mind a little risk but still want low risk. If you could suggest 3 potential options I would appreciate it. Thanks!
Q: Your view on this company as an addition to a high dividend portfolio would be appreciated. FCF in the next year or two looks to be substantial.
Thanks
Q: Thanks to Moez for a nice article/stock screener today. I was surprised to see so many companies from the Metals sector.
IF he were to apply one more criterion to the 22 companies that made the list, i.e. debt load, which companies would come up on the top?
( the companies with the least debt load to the most)
Thanks.
Q: May I have your full analysis and thoughts on the new IPO Dialogue Health Technologies Inc? Since I own TDOC in the US and Well per your recommendation (tyvm), I was thinking of switching WELL for CARE. Thank you!
Q: Lumber and minerals seem to be on fire these days. Is there much more room for these plays? How would you play them? What other themes do you see have value today?
Q: It appears this company has showed a very positive share price increase. Is this just as a result of increasing lumber prices or is there more going on here. Do you think there may be more upside here or has this "topped" out.
