Q: What is your opinion of this company. It seems to be a solid hold. I rarely hear it mentioned.

Q: Is there an underlying reason for Paypals continuing slide? I was thinking it would be a good long term hold, but now having second thoughts
Thanks as always

Q: For discussion purposes, If one has taxable income of >$220K in Ontario, the tax rate on income would be 53.53% and 26.77% on capital gains (for now!).
My first question is if one trades too frequently in a TFSA and the CRA decrees that this is business income, then is it correct to assume that the gains are taxed at 53.33% i.e., go from 0% tax to 53.53% tax?
My second question. If one trades too frequently in an unregistered cash account, is that also treated as a business and taxed at 53.33% i.e., go from 26.77% tax to 53.54% tax?
Any thoughts on roughly how much “too frequent” is?
Thanks so much.

Q: Considering taking a position in one of these two companies would appreciate your opinion on both and why you would choose one over the other.
Thanks John

Q: MKTX has an attractive long term performance.
Why has MKTX gone down so much in 2021? In what market condition does it do well.
Thanks
Nick

Q: What does 5i think about AirIQ, its recent quarterly results and stock valuation for a company with growing recurring revenue stream?
Q: your thoughts on recent quarter and where there going in future?
Q: Would you add to this name for a long term hold? I like the dividend but don t need it. I have owned it for many years already. I am debating if I should add or sell and re allocate to existing positions in TOI and DSG.

Q: I have held AQN in my TFSA since 2012. Given your recent comments on it as more of a "hold" than growth as well as my attempt to pivot my TFSA away from income to more of a more growth tilt am wondering if it is time to "graduate" AQN to my income-with-growth leaning non-reg account before year end? I also hold FTS, BEP and BIP in my non-reg accounts. I am retired investor but do not depend upon my investment income and challenged by a 43% marginal tax rate with this move.
Q: Near a 52 week low,is Absolute buyable for a 3 year hold?
Q: Regarding ATVI, If this drop continues would you step in at a certain price or is it low enough already that you are comfortable for a 5 year hold? Is there a price that screams out to you BUY!?
I feel the stock reaction is overblown not, to dismiss the issues at hand but I don’t feel anything has changed with the companies outlook long term with great gaming assets and the metaverse theme gaining traction moving forward.

Q: Good afternoon,
After today's decline, what price level would you recommend purchase?
Thank you.

Q: Is there any ongoing specific issue driving the weakness in the Wellhealth share price? Even with a positive quarterly report released in early November the share price continues to fall and is now at a 52 week low.

Q: Fire sale - V - 13 month low; MA just as bad; along with the rest of these. Do you think the people selling them have knowledge that we do not have and that is why they are selling these stocks. What is your take on what is happening? Thanks
Q: I am currently down 23% in my TFSA and my time line is 2years. Wondering if I should take the loss and add to my others that are doing well.
Q: What's happening with WDO? It appears to be defying moves in the price of gold & gold stocks.
Thanks

Q: They had nice q results out earlier in the week. Not an exciting company by it may be on the mend. It bumped it's Q dividend up to 10 cents but not yet back to pre-covid level of 14.5 cents a share.

Q: Hello 5i Team,
When designing a portfolio about a year ago I made sure to have exposure in Emerging Markets as I was underweight in foreign equities. With Chinese equities under pressure does one just continue to hold these equities in order to have a diversified portfolio and ride the ups and downs if one is a long term investor? Your insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
