Q: Further to Peter's column in the Financial Post [always good, plain ,common sense advice] I'm wondering what US companies in the health care sector might be considered?

Q: Hi Team,
Currently for healthcare exposure I own VEEV and WELL. I was considering replacing VEEV with either LLY or UNH. Would this be advisable? If so, which one would you recommend? Also, regarding Well would you recommend continuing to hold it; or selling it to make a switch for either LLY or UNH as well? What sort of mix here would you recommend? I am looking for long term growth here. Lastly...do you see the healthcare sector in general to be a good place to be right now?

Q: Hi All,

I have a really nice gain shorter term gain on LLY thanks to your recommendation of 125% which is down a little from the high.
Is LLY on the over valued side now and starting to correct? Should I sell it and move into another Healthcare name and if so I'd love a few recommendations. I already own a partial position in UNH and ABBV. I see UNH has dropped and may have some issues with the government should they be stayed away from for now? Thanks for your service.

Q: Hello, you recommended UnitedHealth Group Inc. (UNH) in the past. The recent launch of an antitrust investigation against UNH has led to a sudden drop in the stock price. Q: My wife and I have accumulated a fair amount of cash in our RRSP we would now like to invest. We have at least 5 years time horizon. We are well represented in Oil, Banks, Tech., financial. We have some reits as well. Not much retail or healthcare. We like growth and dividends and not too concerned about higher weightings in the right industries (we are considering more banks and tech, as well as minerals for batteries). We have about 40K which is about 10% of our portfolio. What would you consider good value right now? It seems many tech stocks are priced very high right now so would you avoid tech at the moment? Can you suggest 5 value stocks? Thanks.

Q: Hi,

I hold VIG and have decided I'd like to instead concentrate my holdings on two stocks: UNH and V. Are there any obvious red flags with these two companies. I know there is no comparison between and ETF and individual stocks. Sector is not a concern.

Q: Sooner than later the US Congress and Senate will have to deal with the US debt ceiling. One option is to cut expenditure for certain categories, like health care or medical expenditures. With this in mind, I searched for revenue from the US Federal Government for each of the health stocks that I hold but with no luck. Did this as I think that if such revenue is cut for such healthcare stocks the price of the stock could decline. Can you estimate such revenue received for each of these stocks - ABBV, ABT, BSX, ISRG, SYK, UNH and ZTS? Or do you know a source for such information? .......Thanks for the assistance.......Tom
