Q: would you wait till after earning to add to GUD?
Thanks

Q: Has the Brazilian currency gone up or down much since Knight made the purchase of Biotoscan and do see it as an influencing factor overall or is the currency relatively stable?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: In Jaime’s question he references GUD price to book, one has to realize that the acquisition was done at a premium to market, and likely several multiples above book.
Q: 5i Team,
I'm curious what I'm missing in analyzing GUD? They're about a week or so away from reporting the first results of the acquisition, which should start to put them at a run rate of slightly less than $300M in revenues.
They should also have, once the dust clears have about $300M in cash left.
No debt, incredible growth, and a cash hoard for another major acquisition and it trades below book?
What am I missing?
Thanks!

What are the market expectations?

Q: I had hoped that GUD would have held up better in the face of the current sell-off, but so be it. Are we reaching attractive levels to add to positions in your opinion?
Thanks

Q: Hi guys, I own the following with the respective total portfolio weightings. My TFSA is all CDN and RRSP is a mix of USD/CDN. When I rebalance, should I try and rebalance with respect to % of TFSA and % of RRSP or rebalance each holding as a percent of overall portfolio? If the latter, I would consolidate some of the holdings in my TFSA to bump up the individual weightings. Are there any obvious adjustments that I should make? I’m heavy on AAPL but have sold so much of it over the years I’m very tempted to let the remaining shares ride.

Q: Hi, great job my portfolio is up, thanks.
I bought GUD for sector, management, cash position, growth (safety) etc.
They finally made an acquisition which looks ok.(no homerun?) still down ,bought at $8.50
Looks like an important quarter in March,if it is good all should be ok, if not ,it will not have the big cash backstop that it did in the past. Won’t this be a problem?
Getting a little impatient, if it is only a so-so or down quarter, is it not time to seriously consider an alternative? Or would you give it “another”3-5 years?
Thanks,

Q: It was a pleasant surprise to receive a reply to my followup Knight question submitted at 1 pm on Friday when the second reply arrived at 8 pm on the same Friday before a long weekend.
Thank you for the stellar service!

Q: When do they report ?
Q: Thanks for your reply to my Knight Therapeutics question. Can you be more specific about
two parts:
1) Do small shareholders in GBT have to sell?
2) The stock price is surprisingly weak - do you think medisen is selling now to fund their share re-purchase or can you speculate any reason why selling is going on now after waiting so long for a big, non-dilutive cash purchase? It is a big surprise to me.
That's it.
Thank you.

Q: I haven't seen too many company purchases similar to GUD buying GBT. Is it unusual to take out the major shareholders then individuals and will small shareholders be forced to sell?
The purchase was paid in cash with no dilution, Medisen is paying $77M for their shares, GUD will have well over $300M left plus any Biotoscana profits from Nov. 29 and, yet the share price is very weak. Is something not going well?
Finally, Medisen has 4 years to sell their GUD shares. Do you think they are selling now to raise cash to buy back their shares and, second, is a low price good for GUD as biotoscan shareholders will most likely sell at the ptemium offered? Thank you!

Q: I hold the above equities. I have additional funds to allocate. Your suggestions please. Take this opportunity to thank Peter for a great job, very reliable.
I would not want to add to my positions in ECN.PR.A , ENB, PNG ,& LSPD because of weighting’s and/or risk.

Q: I hold XBC in my TFSA with a healthy 100% return. I am considering selling 1/3 of my XBC holdings and adding to ATA and GUD, which are under weight. Your thoughts.
Thanks

Q: I hold the following in my balanced equity type portfolio and they all represent less than a half position, either because they have dropped or because they have not kept up with the rest of the portfolio. I have enough new money to top up 4 or 5 of them to their original weightings. Which would you top up at this point and which would you simply let go?
