Q: Good afternoon,
I have about a 5% of both LNR and MG in my TFSA and have owned them since 2017.
Although I have seen reasonable returns LNR has lagged behind MG. I'm looking to sell LNR and get into something that has more growth can you please suggest two or three Canadian companies and a possible entry point.

Also I have owned AQN sing March 2020 and it has not done anything and thinking of switching over to POW BAM.A or any other suggestions and a possible entry point.

Thanks.

Joe

Q: Hello 5i,
I'm looking to add a couple of these stocks to my growth portfolio. I realize some are very new and comparisons maybe difficult but I'd like your opinion on which would have the best growth over the next 3-5 years. Also which would you prefer?
Thank you so much!

Q: Please comment on the earnings report. Specifically are you concerned that revenue growth is being swamped by increasing cost and cash outflows? Are the expense increases in categories that support future growth, such as r and d, or they just drags on performance like salaries, stock compensation etc.

Q: Good morning

This is a mixed bag. For a 3 year period, I am looking for those with most upside potential. Which would you advise to buy more and those to sell in order to buy more.
Thank you

Q: Hello Peter and Staff

For a small starter position medium risk acceptable -5-10 year hold which of the 3 above would you recommend and why?

Also would the “runner up” be better same parameters than any of U, ENGH or SYZ already held in small positions

Thanks for all you do

Q: I have a number of laggards in my portfolio that have been dramatically outperformed by peers during this year's rally, many of which I already own. I realize that you have generally rated these as 'hold' when asked in the past-yet I'm seeing a substantial opportunity cost to holding while others hold momentum during these hot markets for tech, industrial and commodities.
Any thoughts on whether it is worth continuing to hold and would you advise replacing at this time. ie on the balance of possible outcomes, would I be better off to stand pat or shift over to comparables within the sectors?
Thanks,
Peter

Q: Good afternoon,

What companies (maybe 3) does your firm believe are at the leading edge of artificial intelligence? Please, if possible, explain what their foci may be and perhaps suggest what they may have a comparative advantage to their nearest competitors,

Q: Good Morning 5i Team,

I'm trying to pair down the number of growth stocks I own. From this list, which two would you have the most confidence in for growth potential over the next three years and which two the least. Thanks very much.

Q: I am considering selling U (down 24% in my TFSA) and replacing it with one of the following: WELL, NVEI, DOCU, MED, or APPS. Please rank in order of preference if purchased today. Can I assume all of the above stocks would likely have higher rates of growth than U and that the sale of U would thus be justified?

Thank you.

Q: I am looking to add 1/4 positions in my growth portfolio with AT and NVEI. Or I could add to my half positions in U, CRWD or NVDA. I would like your thoughts on which is better at this time for long term growth. I am underweighted in US stocks. Thanks

Q: Good day. Looking to deploy some new cash, the above stocks are my present US holdings. Any in this group set to take off that could be added to or any sells in the mix? Recommendations to add to this group?

Q: I am looking at what to do with cash in my TFSA once cash from PHO is available. (nice gain -thank you !)
Shown below are existing positions in my TFSA that are in negative or small positive territory. My portfolio has a good weighting in tech, so staying in that sector not necessary. Would appreciate your thoughts on which of these (if any) you would choose to add to and in what priority. As always, thank you .
QST ( -24%, currently 0.8 % of total portfolio)
XBC ( -32%, currently 2 % of total portfolio)
AT (0%, currently 1.25% of total portfolio)
EGLX (+4%, currently 1.45 % of total portfolio)
MRS (+4%, currently 0.3 % of total portfolio)
U (-25%, currently 1.4% of total portfolio)

Q: I know you typically don't like averaging down. I'm underwater on the following names. Would you be comfortable adding to them and if so which order would you prioritize new money be allocated. 10+ year timeframe.

BEP.UN (down 22%)
KXS (down 21%)
TTD (down 36%)
U (down 41%)
XBC (down 54)

I assume you would advise a few more quarters with XBC before adding?

Thank you,

Stefan

Q: I have more tech equities than I want going forward. Please help me strike one or two off my list by ranking these in order of potential growth over the long term /min 5 years. For fun (since it probably won't affect my decision), please also rank from least volatility to most volatility. Thank you very much!

Q: My portfolio is currently down between 30% to 50% on the above stocks in a cash account. Which stocks would you recommend selling to harvest tax losses today and what quality names would you replace them with that have been similarly beaten down you believe will more likely recover losses because of valuation or other reasons.
