Q: You previously mentioned that Pfizer stock might be a value trap. What if investors consider Pfizer stock as a dividend stock, similar to BCE, Telus, or other telecom stocks with limited growth potential? Dividend investors usually focus on the quarterly dividends and the potential risks to the business. What if they buy it for the income and hope for a recovery in the future? Another concern is whether the stock will continue to decline. Please share your thoughts. Thank you in advance.

I climbed the stairs with NTR and have taken the elevator down. Crop prices are cyclical but am also worried about the new supply coming on .

Would you hold or switch for one of FCX, TECK.B , AEM or SJ as my material stock

Q: I presently own PANW and I am up modestly. I would like to know your opinion of selling PANW and buying CRWD after its sell off? I want exposure to cyber security. Do you see more upside potential with Crowd Strike? Would the unknown consequences of CRWD be a problem?

Q: I am presently down 61% on SMCI . What do you think of this company and is it a sell or hold ? I also hold QCOM, but not under on this one. Any thoughts on this one ?

Q: I have a number of Canadian Rate Reset and Perpetual Preferred Shares, which have done very well in the last number of months. These are held predominantly in a Registered LIF Account. The current yields are between 6~7%. The Rate Resets are laddered, resetting in different years. As the reset dates get closer it may impact the value, depending on BOC rate and reset rate. I was looking trimming these and allocating 20% of our Preferred shares BEPR for US exposure.


BEPR currently yields 9% which would increase our income, while providing greater diversification nIt seems to have paid a monthly since at least 2018.

What is 5’s view on BEPR and the safety of its distribution vs Canadian Preferred shares?

Q: I’m in the process of clearing out my portfolio and have 1,000 shares of Kraken Robotics that I’ve held for a few years. These shares have appreciated by 200%. What do you think about the future prospects of this small-cap company? While the total value isn’t huge, it’s been nice to see the growth. Should I continue holding onto these shares? Q: Hi Peter, my son was looking at starting a FHSA investment portfolio. I was thinking of having him start with a small position in NVDA as one of his holdings, would this be a good suggestion seeing that the shares have fallen since the split or would there be better stocks for such an account and if you could suggest some it would be appreciated. Q: Hello Peter,
Given your last reply on well at 16 times forward earnings, is this stock mis priced by the market? I would think for growth company, investors would pile into the stock given the current decrease in rates which help small caps.. Any comments? Also, do you think xsu can go much higher or has it rallied already in expectation of rates going down? Lastly, i know you don't believe in market timing but when some stocks surge due to recent announcements on lower rates, is it worth selling and buying it back when markets settle.. much appreciated.

Q: I am significantly under water in a non-registered account with a holding in NXT, which I bought some months ago. What is your current outlook for the company and the share price going forward? Time to realize the loss and move on? If so, what are some of your current favorite ideas?
