Can you recommend a good etf for India exposure in canadian dollars and is this a good time to initiate a position in India? Thanks very much.

Q: Good morning and happy holidays to the whole 5i team. If you were looking to invest in the potential of India having an economic push like China had what ETF's or companies would you consider and what account would you hold them in? I am thinking long term.
Thank you

Q: What is your preferred vehicle to invest in India for the next 10 years?
Q: Good morning,
All the emerging markets ETFs seem to be weighted roughly 50% to China and Taiwan. I would like to re-balance the EM weighting using Canadian-listed securities to one or two dynamic regions or countries (not sure, India or SE Asia maybe). Are there good ETFs for dynamic regions or countries that could balance things out a bit for a more globally weighted exposure? ZID caught my eye; 0.67% fee.
Would you do this or would you stick to the one-stop-shop EM ETFs like VEE/XSEM?
Canadian products only, please. I'm aware the US has greater selection. Many thanks for your help.

Q: I would like to gain some more exposure into areas outside of Canada and the US, specifically China and India. I think ETF is the way to go. Would you suggest a couple? Any concerns with these areas currently? Would you suggest denominated in C$, US$ or any other currency for diversification?
Thanks, Mike
Thanks, Mike

Q: I would like to invest 50 thousand in a etf or two investing outside of Canada. Please give a couple o f recommendations and a specific country or investment idea you would consider attractive at this time as well. I already own US banks through ZBK as well as Alibaba. Do you consider XID attractive at this time? THANKYOU I have been well pleased with 5i over the years and consider your advice a good investment.
Q: Gooday 5i team.
I have a small position in FIH and will hold for the long term.
Is there a Canadian listed ETF that has general exposure to India and it's future growth as the World gets back somewhere close to normal post Covid?
Thanks for your help.

Q: What would be the best ETF choice for exposure to India (USD or CAD is fine)? I am aware of ZID. Is there anything comparable or better?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hope everyone at 5i is well. Would you be a buyer of XID today, or is too early, given the Covid-19 situation in India? Thanks in advance.
Q: India-I would like to broaden my investments internationally and am drawn to growth in India. The Fairfax option is less desireable to me because the units are (I believe) sold in U.S. Dollars. a)Are there any investment vehicles that you would recommend? and b) any with dividends?

Q: I have about $10,000 I would like to get some non-U.S., foreign exposure with. Maybe an ETF or 2, a dividend would be great but not if it takes away all the growth. Would you recommend China, India or Europe? I know it will limit my choices but I would like to purchase it in Canadian dollars. Thank you so much :-)
Q: Hello 5i Team,
For international emerging market exposure, I hold some funds in the Ishares India Index ETF, which has been brutalized of late, (along with other emerging market equities). I'm slightly above water on this holding at the moment, but the trend line is down. Do you think there is decent chance of recovery in the medium term, or is it time to bail. Thanks.

Q: Disregarding the yield, would you buy the 2 country-specific ETFs or stick with the international ETF. I understand this is an apples vs. oranges type of question. Over a longer term, would there be a growth advantage with ZCH and XID over ZDI. Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter et al:
I am looking to invest some money in India. The two etf's that I was able to find are xid and zid. I am looking for mid to large cap value, however BMO states that zid is growth oriented and high risk. I am a subscriber to your etf branch but I couldn't find what I needed there. Also what would you recommend for etf exposure to Europe and the Euro, which I believe will appreciate relative to the cad.
Thanks,
BEN.

Q: Hi Peter,
In a well diversified portfolio, which India fund would you hold (from the list above or another) ? Why is FIH/U currently agging the others ? We already own FFH; Is buying FIH/U as well too much Fairfax ?
Thank you, Paul

Q: What is the best way to participate in the China/India market (buy and hold and ETF investor)?
Q: Am considering a small position in India. FIH.U is tempting me but I realize it is a much different structure than other ETF's. Could you give me your favorite Indian ETF's with FIH.U ranked among them ? And your opinion of FIH.U ?
