Q: Good morning - I have a meandering position in MCHI and have become concerned about investing in China as its structural issues seem dire ( real estate, youth unemployment etc) while its exports have soared. I'm wondering which international market makes the most sense these days. I have VEA which is doing fine. I had Japan exposure and left it for China. India seems fully priced. I have plenty of US exposure already and don't want more. So, where to invest? Europe? I know the international markets are not your forte but which ETF(s) would you suggest?
Thanks, as always.

Q: Happy New Year to all of you at 5I. What are your thoughts on MCHI? I've owned it for a while and it has done nada. China is an export juggernaut with a domestic market in a shambles. The real estate vortex continues. Would India offer better prospects than China, at this time and for say a three to five year hold. Or, back to Japan? I want some exposure to Asia but what say you? Many thanks

Q: Do you have a preference between FXI and MCHI for China equity exposure outside pure tech? I would appreciate your rationale e.g. index methodology and coverage (large cap vs broader market), sector weights, liquidity and cost, risk concentration.
Any structural advantages or drawbacks? Assuming portfolio capacity permits, does holding both make sense from an incremental diversification standpoint, or does one ETF sufficiently capture the intended exposure?
