Q: I need to raise some cash. Could you recommend which 6 of the above list you would sell first. Keeping in mind that I would be rebuying some of those as cash again becomes available.
Thanks for your advice.

Q: Hi. I follow your Canadian balanced portfolio and have all the above industrials except XBC. Following your advice to not to add to losers SIS has become my smallest holding at 2%. I have had it for over 3 years so not really down when considering the dividend. My though is possibly replacing it with XBC. Your insight would be appreciated. Is SIS just out of favor and XBC overpriced. Or does XBC just have so much more potential?

Q: Greetings 5i,
I am looking to reduce my Industrials and hold each of these stocks In various accounts. I would prefer to trim an entire position rather than a portion of each. In what order would you reduce these holdings today? Tax-loss selling is not a factor.
Thank you
SP

Q: Hi,
if you were putting a fund together comparable to VGG, but for Canadian equities, what might be your first 5 top picks assuming the same criteria for the ETF? Also, what would be your 3 honorable mentions?
When comparing CDZ and VGG what are the main differences in terms of the stocks that make up these two ETF's?
Many thanks,
Dan

Q: ARK Invest recently produced a Bad Ideas Report for 2020.
The one that particularly caught my attention was on railroads. Their thesis is that the trend in place since early 2000's in which rail had been taking share from trucking will reverse with the commercialization of autonomous electric trucks.
They believe that during the next five years autonomous electric trucks will provide faster and more convenient door to door service , increase productivity , lower costs dramatically and take share from rail.
While their projections may be aggressive , they have a pretty good record at identifying disruptive trends. And , as someone who has owned CNR for over a decade and always considered it a forever hold , this caught my attention.
Would appreciate your thoughts .
Thank-you.

Q: In the industrial sector I have a weighting of 19.41%. I know this is over weight, but I like the stocks I own for future growth. For colour I own CAE 3.97% up 14.22% recent addition. EIF 4.31% up 20.31%: TFII 5:47% up 105.97%: : WSP 3.75% up 4.79%:
My concern is with TFII, after reading a copy of the conference call I’m not exactly excited about the future. Seems to be tough sledding from here on.What are your thoughts?

Q: Good Morning
I’m in the process of some year end house cleaning with the idea to reduce the number of holdings and adding some more upside potential. Considering selling partial positions in GUD and ATA and with the proceeds topping up two of either TRI,ECN TFII or AD. Would you firstly endorse the sells and which two would top up at this time.
Thank you for your continued guidance and support.

Q: I was listening to someone who was saying that industrial is the new retail (because of the supply chain to online sales) and that it makes sense to invest in COLD and PBW (US). What are your thoughts on this thesis, and if you agree, what companies would you recommend? It seems that TFII has benefited from this theme.
