Q: Hello 5i team,
TFII has gone down ~11% since they reported their last quarter which was solid. I know you have answered this already, but is there anything else going on besides people taking profits?
It almost appears as if investors are thinking that TFII has not much more room to grow going forward.
Thank You,
Andrew

Q: Older investor looking to pair an industrial company, in a concentrated TFSA, with WSP. Want to capture the most total return over 3 years with the least volatility. What would you suggest? I am leaning towards TFII. Thank you.

Q: We have a balanced portfolio with a growth tilt. Current Industrial sector stocks held and their percentage in total portfolio are:
CAE-1.7%, WSP-4.9%, AC-1.9%, XBC-1.3%, XYL-1.9%, MRS-0.3% and etf CWW-2.5%.
Have some cash to add and have been looking at ATA or TFII or topping up one or more existing holdings. Dividend not necessary. Would appreciate your thoughts and/or alternative suggestions.
Many thanks as always.

Q: Why after a solid earnings report (from what I interpret) was there a significant drop in share price this morning ? Many thanks.
Q: Hi 5i, pls provide your comments on Q3 earnings, and future outlook.
Thx.
Thx.
Q: I was hoping to add TFII to my industrial holdings (currently hold CP & CNR) and was waiting for a pullback which doesn't seem to ever arrive.
Do you think at these prices that entering into a full position now (5% of my equity portfolio) of TFII would be silly.
Thanks.

Q: What is your opinion on the activist investor situation at CNR? I remember when this happened with CP a few years ago. Even though I never bought in, the stock did very well in the years following Hunter Harrison being appointed CEO.
I'm asking because I am currently light in industrials, I have postions in TT, WSP, TFI, XYL. I was considering a position in CNR for my RRSP.

Q: People seem to have varied views concerning the causes of the supply chain disruptions including covid, lack of longshoremen, lack of truck drivers, etc. Do you see any companies benefiting from this; perhaps on the transportation side such as CNR, TFII, or CJT ? Or any other industries?
Thanks for your insights.

Q: Would you foresee any specific potential drivers for upside (looking for total return/compounding growth rather than specific dividend income) in one of these transportation companies over the other? I am trying to decide between them for a position in a long term hold RRSP portfolio. Thank you.

Q: Hi 5iresearch team
Can you please recommend 3 Canadian stocks for each of the industrial and healthcare sectors that you think will perform well in 2022?
Dividends is a bonus but not a must.
Thanks a lot for the great service.

Thanks!

Q: Morning Peter & Team,
I know your long term outlook for CAE is positive. Have held it for some time and although technically it has shown higher lows and high highs over the past year, gains in the last 10 months have been moderate. Especially when compared to some of it's industrial sector piers such as ATA & TFII the later of which has a dividend as well.
I am thinking of switching up to one of your other (previous) recommendations. Would you consider this a good idea? Or would you suggest I continue with my patient hold of CAE?
Thanks for all you do.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,
Nice report on AND. Just wondering if TFII operates in the same space. We've done very well with TFII (thanks, 5i) but are a bit low in Healthcare. AND looks promising, but want to make sure that it's complementary to TFII.
Thanks for your insight.
