Q: good morning - i have a position in LUN which has wandered of late. I do want copper exposure and wonder if LUN is the best company in canada or whether there is a better company at present. So, is it buy, sell or hold my current LUN and what other companies would you suggest? thanks al

Q: At present my only position in materials is a 2.5 % weight in FNV, and am looking at adding one position. I am considering one of these 4. I have heard that Lun had some issues in Chile and am a bit concerned that Teck.B might have a bit of a drag from coal being out of favour with ESG considerations;. Do you think these concerns are meaningful? In any event, of the 4, which one would you want to choose, and why? Thanks for your excellent service.
Q: There is a lot of talk about copper as a fundamental commodity for electrification and cobalt being critical for batteries. These I believe are often mined together. Do you see opportunity for investment based on these theses despite of recent price appreciations and which company would you recommend giving preference to Canadian companies.
Thank you for your great service, Peter

Q: Hi 5i,
I'm trying to put together a materials allocation for my portfolio that pay a dividend. These are the companies I have come up with that pay a stable dividend and appear to not have too much related business. Is more diversification needed and can you make recommendations. Also is there any better replacements for these companies I would like to have at least a two percent dividend. Thanks!

Q: Can you please comment on Lundin Mining's recent quarter. Would you be comfortable starting a position at the current share price?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Looking to add a position to my materials sector. Currently own NTR, MX, LIF. This would be held in my dividend focused non-registered portfolio and would be a long term investment. looking for a company with good dividend and financial strength to withstand volatility in the sector. A company with base metals exposure would compliment my existing holdings.
Although Lundin has had some problems I am wondering if the recent price declines presents a good long term buying opportunity. Other recommendations welcome.

Q: Hi, I currently have shares in HBM but I am considering selling and replacing with something else and wonder your thoughts on that. I am considering LUN or LAC or a bit for both. This is new to me so open to suggestions. Thanks for this service

Do you have any thoughts on this risk?

Do you have any specific suggestions ie an ETF or a company?
Thanks

Q: Good Morning,
Can I please get a handful of your favourite copper stocks right now?
thanks

Q: Your thoughts on continuing to hold LUN with the CEO leaving at year end (although supposedly continuing in an advisory capacity for a further year) and replacement being someone without operational experience in the mining industry, which seems to be an issue for Lundin these days. It also appears few Board members have operational experience according to recent Globe article.
Q: What is your current view of LUN given the negative events of the last couple of months with the exception of the inaugural performance dividend. Thank you
Q: What are your top Canadian mining stock picks, to benefit from increasing EV-related copper demand? Looking for a long term investment. I like LUN for its dividend over 3%, but I am really looking for a quality company rather than dividend.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Q: I have a number of laggards in my portfolio that have been dramatically outperformed by peers during this year's rally, many of which I already own. I realize that you have generally rated these as 'hold' when asked in the past-yet I'm seeing a substantial opportunity cost to holding while others hold momentum during these hot markets for tech, industrial and commodities.
Any thoughts on whether it is worth continuing to hold and would you advise replacing at this time. ie on the balance of possible outcomes, would I be better off to stand pat or shift over to comparables within the sectors?
Thanks,
Peter

Q: Precious metals having a good day today, assuming its mainly because of the hot inflation numbers coming out. Do you see these stocks having more room to run? I own the above. Can you rank the above stocks in terms of the inflationary environment and which have the best growth and potential. Which sectors would do the best? Also I'm low in energy, would that sector do well if inflation persists or is it mainly driven by energy prices? Do you still see inflation as transitory or more persistent? Thanks!
Q: Thoughts on the news of LUN production guidance? Down 30%, would you add some at these levels?
Also can you rank NTR, MEOH, AEM, KL, LUN currently for materials exposure.
Thanks!

Q: Big drop on lundin mining this morning (over 10%). Copper output has been reinstated and problems in Chile. Do you think its time to move on? Insiders were buying in the high $12.00 mark just a few weeks ago. Thanks.

Q: Hi team,
Much is said about the rising demand for copper from Europe and Asia over the next few months due to technology and electric cars. For now the price of copper seems to have paused .What is your outlook for copper demand ,the price ,and which companies would best benefit from the rise in demand?
Many thanks,
Jean
